  3. I was gonna update earlier, but haven't been feeling well and totally swamped at work. Long week... Week 1, Day 4: Goal 1: I munched on some dark chocolate pretzels and stopped myself before I ate the whole bag. At least they were dark chocolate?... I ate good for the rest of the day though. Lunch was chicken with steamed veggies and dinner I had veggie dumpling soup with shrimp and spinach. Goal 2: Did yoga and meditation in the morning. Planking time was close to 4 minutes. Rawr! But, I had an headache on the way home from work. Ugh. So no strength training... Goal 3: I was in bed by 11pm, but didn't fall asleep until much later.. like past 1 am.. Life Quest: Nothing to report.

  5. Week 1, Day 3: Goal 1: I did better with sugar today. I brought an orange to work with me and ate it while crunching away with numbers. Only had a small ginger cookie and a tiny dark chocolate truffle after dinner as dessert. Rawr! Goal 2: Did yoga and meditation in the morning. Got home too late for strength training. Goal 3: Had to stay up late to keep working on stuff for work again. :\ Ugh. Life Quest: Whole day was spent on work.. and more work... But, I promised my undergrad advisor that I will get a draft done and sent on Jan 14. Gonna work hard this weekend and probably take off on Monday to work on my dissertation.

  12. Week 1, Day 2: Goal 1: Today was a total fail on the sugar front again. Work has been stressful this week. So swamped and I ate a whole bar of this before I realized I did: Note to self: Don't keep chocolates in office... Other than that, I stayed away from greasy fried food at work. Had baked chicken and steamed veggie for lunch. Dinner was chicken soup with mushrooms and rice. Goal 2: Did yoga and meditation in the morning. Rest day for strength training. Goal 3: Had to stay up late to keep working on stuff for work. :\ Life Quest: Whole day was spent on work.. and more work... Hope Wednesday is a better day! Rawr!
