  1. Actually people on this forum have totally seen us in the same room together. WHERE IS SHAAR.
  2. I mean, have you ever seen us in the same toom together? Wolf- I would NEVER do parkour in danskos- it would be like wearing cement shoes! No, the clogs were for my last restaurant job, and while some people swear by them I now believe them to be EVIL ABOMINATIONS.
  3. Just stopping by with that pumpkin curry recipe. For no reason. Totally innocuous. Don't mind me as I absently say to the air that I added a chopped potato two chopped carrots and a quarter cup of pumpkin seeds to the curry to fillit out and it would be lovely with some chicken... http://abeautifulmess.com/2015/10/easy-pumpkin-curry.html *walks away whistling*
  4. Woof- that sounds like an intense week, dude. It's especially hard when brain/emotion things start rearing up- I'm glad you were able to mostly stay on top of your workout stuff, and have some insight into your own distractions and feelings. I hope this week is a bit better for you!
  5. Hey Jaks- hope everything is going well, and the whole security project didnt eat your WHOLE weekend
  6. Oooh apple picking! What do you do with all the apples? Also, who is this mysterious Flylady and HOW DOES SHE KNOW I HAVE DUSTY BASEBOARDS
  7. HI DR THANK YOU ITS GOOD TO BE HERE : D It is a great sorcery indeed- imagine a roll of sushi...the size of a burrito...meant to be eaten like a burrito... Yeah. That's a thing now. Week 2 day 2! Week two is off to a good start- yesterday was a ton of fun as I played Artemis Bridge Simulator with the B-Team, my Gotham-based nerd squad, and the pumpkin curry was a huge hit! Recipe to follow! Again, the Bridge Simulator was amazing and it made all my star trek dreams come true and I got to be chief of engineering! I also bought myself a nice sushi dinner last night on a whim, and had uni for the first time, which was both DELECTABLE and also one of my bucket list items! Hooray! Then i tried to dye my hair teal but it didn't work as my hair is too dark. But it did get me past that initial nervousness at dying my hair for the first time, so now I'm ready to go! Logging habits are starting to feel easy- these used to be very established habits for me so its nice to see them springing back with a little encouragement! As the boy-human is out of town for the week I find myself with some extra time on my hands- I've started a bit of decluttering (sub-challenge: declutter 300 items by end of challenge!) and have some other stuff I wanna do this week: I want to finish my pacifist run of Undertale, I want to dye my hair PROPERLY, I want to jump back into reading the book I have been reading (REAMDE by neal stephenson), I want to do a lentil stew for batch cookin', I miight go to parkour tomorrow night, and I need to start planning for halloween, my birthday which is a week before halloween, and NYC Comic Con which is next week. I should probably also see someone about my foot. Poor sad foot. Did I mention I'm going to Comic Con?
  8. What kind of rangers would we be if we didn't range boldly into that most exciting of frontiers, THE HUMAN MIND?

And, for those of you who were struck by a certain item on my budget- well I think tomorrow I'm gonna dye my hair blue! WISH ME LUCK! R.

  13. OH. IT ME. seems like you're totally slaying week one, dude! And man, shoes are SO IMPORTANT- at my last job, I wore Dansko clogs that were rigid, roomy, had almost no cushioning and weighed about a gazillion tons each. Fast forward to semi-permanently numb big toes! Do you find that your sleep needs change over the years? I've heard a lot of people talk about needing more, or less, or suddenly waking up every morning at 4 for no reason and HOW COME WE DON'T EVEN KNOW EXACTLY WHY WE NEED SLEEP OR WHAT THE BRAIN DOES WE SLEEP EVERY NIGHT AND YET IT IS A MYSTERY AAAAAHHHH
  14. WAITBI JUST SAW THE THING ABOUT THE BURGLARY, THAT IS BULLCRACKERS AND HIGH KNAVERY AND I AM OUTRAGED ON YOUR BEHALF! but actually, a rather strange burglary- were the grinder and the flashlight particularly valuable? Also, be careful up those ladders!

  19. WRITING DOWN WHAT YOU EAT BUDDIES! It is rather illuminating, isn't it? Oh, the power of analog!
  20. Two uncomfortable conversations at work sounds like it could take up a lot of your energy and fortitude- I always find that those really take the wind out of my sails. hope tomorrow is better!
