  1. Yuck I have been sick since Saturday. I took some sick time at work and just got back today so of course there were a million little fires burning to be put out...it feels good to be needed (I guess ). So sad because I decided to stay out of the gym this week, so I can feel better and not make anyone sick. It is the first time I can honestly say, I miss my gym That is a nice feeling. Since there is a week between challenges I am planning on extending the goals a week and will keep tracking like normal starting Monday! Blah I hate bumps in the road.
  2. Congratulations on your new addition to the family! I hope your wife is feeling better today. The Wendy's placement is absolutely ironic. The reliable milk provider looks like it could be a big challenge...I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

  8. That sounds like some crazy lightning! Maybe they are worried about their relationship with you changing because you enjoy doing something they don't understand. It's ok to be offended, but consider letting them know you don't like it. The sooner you do this the better...especially if you can plan to talk about it and not end up flying off the handle one day. Maybe they don't know *how* to support you so let them know what you are looking for from them, is it verbal encouragement, not preparing certain food items, etc. Or maybe just neutrality and let you do your own thing, no comments! You never know when a streak is going to become a lifestyle!

  10. So far this week... 1. You mothers...So far I have done all my workouts scheduled and got in the ten minutes! One more to go, then a walk on Saturday for my point! My walk will be at an outdoor festival at a local farm. I will use the Nike app to make sure I cover a decent amount of distance. 6 pts - A 4-5 pts - B 2-3 pts - C 0-1 pt - F 2. Yes Sir,what can I get you? -Could I have a glass of the... cranberry juice please - haven't had a drink yet this week! 6 pts - A 4-5 pts - B 2-3 pts - C 0-1 pt - F 3. What's the matter Danny? Never taken a shortcut before? - I just did my first complete set on #11 last night!!! Woohoo! Next time I get to start on #10...and one step closer to being able to do 1 little eensy weensy one on #6. # 6 - A # 7 - B # 8 - C # 9 - F Life Goal...a different story. My husband just got a new job and now he gets home before I do every day! I am thinking of switching it to something else...I have this one bad habit and I know he doesn't like it when I do it. I don't like doing it either, so I think I might change this goal to be free from this habit by the end of the 6 weeks. In fact, yes this will be the official change for this goal. Aaaah this one is going to be hard!
  11. Other things that are great for your skin and hair - avocado, banana, honey, milk, and cinnamon, just to name a few. Fear not!

  14. Ha! The misdirection was great because it didn't rain until I got back to the gym I think the worse part was that I was wandering around an apartment complex, looking suspicious... Definitely not my strong point! I ended up an hour away from my hometown when I was 16...trying to find a putt putt place. There has been little improvement in the 15 years since. Thanks Kiwi! Does it still count if I was drinking beer instead of water after a workout session? Ugh awful...but so good.
