Great job on your loss to date! If you are still looking for an accoutibilibuddy, I think it would be a good fit. This is my second challenge, the first one ended about a week ago. My outlook is this is a lifestyle change for the better, not a diet. Wideeyed You did AMAZING in your challenge. Thank you for the tips and guidance at the beginning of the challenge, because of your help I stayed on track, Thank you! I hope I am posting my results in the right place, below. I did GREAT in my first challenge. I am looking forward to the next one in a week! I didn't expect to fit into my size 8 jeans for a few more months, but I was in them by the end of this challenge. I was surprised at the inches I lost, much more than the weight but that's fine I'll take it! My main quest goal – will go past 6 weeks: To lose weight and fit into a size 8 - A, I did it in 6 weeks, never expected this!Mission goals Walk at lunch time at work at least 4 out of 5 days.- A, did itEat Paleo at least 5 days a week - A, did itTrack loss by measurements only - B, weighed only once after 5 weeks for doc appointmentLife Quest Work on programming - C, intermittentMotivation To be healthy, avoid blood pressure medicine and feel comfortable in my skin again -

Mid Challenge Status report!
joiseyg33 replied to bigm141414's topic in Level 1 Rebels (First Time Challengers)
Happy to report I am crushing my goals! I haven't checked in with my team but have been reading posts and knowing they are there if needed keeps me strong. I am so happy I started this when I did. I was laid off from work yesterday, so I'm all that more determined! Per suggestions from my team I have put the scale away until the challenge is over but have lost several inches and I'm wearing clothes I haven't touched in a few years, last time I lost weight. I feel amazing, mentally, physically and have so much energy. Thanks NerdFitness community! -

I'm with Lula and neutral-mente, I would prefer to keep personal in a private just the group area. Was a private group created for this? How about a Google+ or another place to share. If not, I'll create it, just let me know. I am also still trying to get all the rules down and know I probably need to do a few things online. I am eating Paleo and exercising though -
Thank you all for your feedback! I have taken Wideeyed's advice and put the scale away. I am also making sure I eat enough calories through mypalfitness, I was not eating enough after walking so much. No more Lara bars and only 1 fruit a day. I have never had a full week of no loss in the past but I know things change, especially as we get older. You have all pumped me up and pushed me onward!
