  5. Great job on your loss to date! If you are still looking for an accoutibilibuddy, I think it would be a good fit. This is my second challenge, the first one ended about a week ago. My outlook is this is a lifestyle change for the better, not a diet. 10. Wideeyed You did AMAZING in your challenge. Thank you for the tips and guidance at the beginning of the challenge, because of your help I stayed on track, Thank you! I hope I am posting my results in the right place, below. I did GREAT in my first challenge. I am looking forward to the next one in a week! I didn't expect to fit into my size 8 jeans for a few more months, but I was in them by the end of this challenge. 13. Happy to report I am crushing my goals! I haven't checked in with my team but have been reading posts and knowing they are there if needed keeps me strong. I am so happy I started this when I did. I was laid off from work yesterday, so I'm all that more determined! Per suggestions from my team I have put the scale away until the challenge is over but have lost several inches and I'm wearing clothes I haven't touched in a few years, last time I lost weight. I feel amazing, mentally, physically and have so much energy. Thanks NerdFitness community!
  14. I'm with Lula and neutral-mente, I would prefer to keep personal in a private just the group area. Was a private group created for this? How about a Google+ or another place to share. If not, I'll create it, just let me know. I am also still trying to get all the rules down and know I probably need to do a few things online. I am eating Paleo and exercising though
  15. Thank you all for your feedback! I have taken Wideeyed's advice and put the scale away. I am also making sure I eat enough calories through mypalfitness, I was not eating enough after walking so much. No more Lara bars and only 1 fruit a day. I have never had a full week of no loss in the past but I know things change, especially as we get older. You have all pumped me up and pushed me onward!
  16. Thanks for the invite to join your team wideeyed! Looking for the sign up sheet.
  17. I would love to join your team! How do I do that? Found the team sign sheets but don't see To the Pain team, which group is it in?
  18. Wideeyed Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! I have the MyFitnessPal and MapMyFitness to track food and exercise. I also got the bodymedia armband tool from HSN or QVC, it was on sale and it also helps me. I think you hit my "blocks" right on target, the Lara bars and I have been under calories too. I like what the MyFitnessPal said I would weigh when I was under calories, need to ignore that! I have noticed a big change in measurements, but that was only for the first few weeks, this last week that hasn't changed either. I will put away the Lara bars, the scale (after Monday) and up my calories. I am doing my first challenge. I do the stretches but can't seem to get the same range of motion they do at PT. I use a trigger point cane, helps sometimes but some days nothing helps, not the Rx or anything. I have moist heat packs and ice packs use whatever seems to work. That's great this has helped your fibromyalgia! I am also hoping this helps me reduce the pain and headaches. Thank you again for your reply and encouragement. I was discouraged, but you pumped me back up!
  19. I had a neck fusion last year levels 5-7 so I am limited in what I can do. I have physical therapy twice a week and still get debilitating headaches. I'm walking over 10,000 steps 3 or more days a week. I am loving the paleo diet but don't know what I'm doing wrong. Early morning walk the dog 1.25 miles M-F, power walks at lunch 2-3+ miles. I lost 7.5 in the first 2 weeks but this last week the scale won't budge. The only thing I changed is I added Lara bars and do not stray from the diet at all. The first week i ate 2 pieces of thin crust pizza but stuck to the diet the rest of the week. Could it be the Lara bars? Any suggestions?
