Love ginger derpy cat. π I want to do an evil BG3 play through next just to see what the evil characters do in the final battle. But after getting to know the characters I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle it! In this current play through I made a character that I thought was not like me, but then realized that maybe I've been projecting quite a bit after all. I don't know how to feel about the character arc. π -

I also wouldn't take any calculator number seriously as the errors on calorie absorption is like 20-25% anyway. The only way to really figure out how much your body needs is to track with your current diet for a few weeks and see what happens with your weight and adapt from there. Keeping in mind that this figure changes with time, mental and physical stress, NEAT, diet changes....

Alas I've never been one for finishing things. Unless I have a deadline. π Yeah! And I bet it's much harder to get truly motivated by something that you won't even notice, but possibly will get to appreciate in a few decades. Compared to the vanity goal which can give you visible results in only a few weeks/months. It might be more important, but brains are bad at thinking that far ahead.

Art Club: Gastropod Studies

It's always ok to spend time in your comfort zone if that's what you need or makes you feel happy. I do think there's a lot of value in going outside your comfort zone, but it doesn't have to be in all areas of life. I feel people take things way too seriously sometimes, particularly things that are supposed to be fun like art and other creative things. If you have a very specific goal then it's a different story, but it's also ok to let a hobby be a hobby.- 200 replies

Houseplants you can eat make the best houseplants. All for the herbs. Same! See there's also lovely purple varieties. -

I'm confused - how is this a radical idea and not a perfectly logical one? In sports the elite will be the ones that are naturally strongest at their sport. Powerlifters won't focus on cardio and tumbling just because those are the weak points. No, they'll focus on getting stronger. Sometimes it's good to work on weaknesses if they're actively preventing you from getting better at your strengths, but those would be accessories, not the main lifts. But if competing is not even the aim you just enjoy lifting weights then who even cares?- 200 replies

Caffeine tolerance typically goes away quickly (and builds back quickly) so it shouldn't take long. But just to check the obvious are you drinking the same amounts of tea as you did coffee? -

YES, I'm all for more creative play! -
Woohoo sleep! I have a confession to make. I read the first book, but thought it was... bland. The main character was dull with the mind of a 12 year old and the two slow storylines made me care for none of them. I wanted to love it, I really did! But maybe I expected/wanted too much of a British, more modern, Dresden and it fell flat for me.

Thanks for the reminder to finish my bag (the one that I started two months ago and got stuck at the 95% mark). π My theory for myself is that it's because the gap between what was and what is is uncomfortable. I'm weaker and less confident in my movement and it makes it less fun when I have to second-guess or modify. I feel there's a lesson about acceptance here... But the struggle is real!

Probably because in the short term drinking still feels better (whether itβs taste or expectation or vibes or the alcohol itself is irrelevant) -
