  1. You sound like you've got it all figured out! Good luck!!
  2. Kudos on taking up the challenge 100% understand what you mean about setting unrealistic expectations; have a penchant of doing that myself. good luck!!
  3. Hi everyone, I've been reading nerd fitness for some months now and have decided to level up my life! Main Quest To get toned, with specific focus on my lower body. FAT THIGHS BE GONE! Mission #1 Keep eating Paleo, but limit nuts/fruits to one serving a day. During the past few months I have tried to eliminate grains and processed foods from my diet, and have largely stuck to this save for a couple of cheat meals (holidays/birthdays/etc). Given what I've done so far, I think it's time to go the whole 9 yards now, and would like to commit to a strict Paleo diet for the next 60 days my restriction on nuts/fruits is simply because I'm the sort of person who has the propensity to "just have a spoonful of almond butter" and then promptly consume half the tub. Mission #2 Do bodyweight/interval exercises three times a week for forty minutes each time. I have an exercise class that I attend twice a week which focusses on cross-fit type exercises. I'd like to throw one more day in the mix and do some exercises myself, specifically: weighted squats, lunges, burpees, sprints to help torch the calories. Please let me know if you have any exercise suggestions for toned legs - I would love to hear from you! Mission #3 Get 8 hours of sleep a night. This should be easy but sometimes I find myself awake at 3am watching re-runs of Big Bang Theory so perhaps this will take a bit more discipline than I imagine Life quest To start learning Spanish again. Motivation I was fit once upon a time, and then I started working progressively longer hours and my health took a back-seat. Eating chips and chocolate was a way for me for me to relieve stress from work, and I was full of excuses for not having time to do any kind of physical activity. All of this only made me feel worse about myself (cue the chips and chocolate! you see how this is a vicious cycle). I'm doing this for my health and well-being. And to be able to wear denim cut-offs!
