Calories: 2,016 / 2,660Carbs: 36 / 67Sugar: 23 / 16Protein: 149 / 166Fat: 132 / 192Food - Thursday, October 17th. Woke up, had some green tea, threw up, called off work, ate soup later. Calories: 640 / 2,660Carbs: 31 / 67Sugar: 15 / 16Protein: 102 / 166Fat: 13 / 192Food - Friday, October 18th. Tested the tummy with Chinese buffet, chili, and eggs. And a workout. Calories: 2,456 / 2,660Carbs: 134 / 67Sugar: 69 / 16Protein: 165 / 166Fat: 151 / 192Food - Saturday (sticky icky icky icky), October 19th. Eggs, bacon, fries, beef, cheese. Calories: 2,490 / 2,660Carbs: 162 / 67Sugar: 8 / 16Protein: 136 / 166Fat: 143 / 192Food - Sunday, October 20th. Paleo pumpkin pancakes, red robin burger wrap, bacon, workout. Calories: 2,621 / 2,660Carbs: 134 / 67Sugar: 47 / 16Protein: 168 / 166Fat: 146 / 192So it was a rough week, and after starting Thursday by vomiting, I spent the next couple days trying to sort my stomach out and get back on track and feeling right. Ah well.

  3. I told Vixen on my thread, but here are our Noun Verber Grades: Probably a solid A for both WndrWmn and I. Three workouts, in bed on time, and food is getting tracked (at least by me, I'll double check on her). I'll be on tomorrow to post details. I got sick Thursday (threw up in the morning, but just once, maybe I'm pregnant?) and the rest of the week was a bit rough.

Three workouts, in bed on time, and food is getting tracked (at least by me, I'll double check on her). We are about to go hit the third workout for the week. The last one was cut short by a scream from upstairs. My daughter ran into something while playing and got a bloody lip. That, combined with the time and the general terrible day on Friday cut things off early. Will give details most likely tomorrow.
  5. That's a good question. Meeting them exactly isn't a huge priority. Keeping them near target, at least proportionally, is more important for me. I'm okay being in the ballpark in any area. But I don't want to say, double my sugar and only meet half my protein goal for instance. So as long as I'm close, I'm okay with it. I especially want to be eating enough on days I work out, trying to get close to protein and calories. I try to keep carbs under 100g total each day, but I don't sweat it if I go over, as long as it isn't a trend or habit. Thanks for checking!

  19. Yeah I can't imagine trying hook grip on DB's as there wouldn't be much room to... well, get a grip. I'll have to see if I can even do it next time I'm around a DB. I've used straps in the past and they certainly helped. I still have a set, somewhere in my sock drawer I think. I'm staying away from them for now as I really want to know the truth about how much I can lift, without caveats. I don't have any real injuries or anything that necessitates them. I may pull them out eventually for only the heavy sets, but I kind of like this "make a mistake, figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong" cycle for now. These little lessons will be important later on, at least I hope they are. If I'd been using the straps, I probably never would have discovered the incorrect grip! I'm not throwing them away any time soon though <wink>. The chalk mostly helps keep your skin nice and dry so things don't slip. Plus it feels nicer.
  20. Just found out that I was gripping the bar incorrectly for DL's. I had the bar too deep in the hand and it was sliding down into the fingers. I need to grip it closer to the hook of the fingers, and that should help the callus formation / tearing issue. #themoreyouknow #learningisfundamental #knowledgeishalfthebattle #GIjoelasergunspewpew
