  1. So, I have an hypothesis. I think that the key to creating a good steady workout routine may be specifically related to my endurance. I.e doing walking lunges and the such to build greater cardio endurance. I am hoping to make it so that I can manage the stress of my 274 pound body more easily when doing body weight exercise as to allow for a sustainable model. So I was wondering if the community could help me devise a joint safe way to increase my cardio and general endurance through more weight safe exercises. So that I won't wreck my knees running and such. Currently I am going with twenty minutes of exercise bike changing pace every 5 minutes slow to fast and back again, and around 50 lunges. I remember reading that lunges were a gateway to good running and endurance. If any of you have been in my position and have a good exercise regiment for boosting my endurance so I can handle both my workouts and general athletics better that would be great. Many thanks,-Dr T
  2. I did my own variation on beginner from 320 to 280 but yeah after two days my legs and core was soooooo angry. After 4 days of recoup I am doing it every two days now for proper recovery and I added 30 second plank. I need more pull exercises but the main issue I am running into is lack of equipment to do such exercises. :/
  3. So I want your opinion at 283 is 100 squats a day with 100 crunches and 50 push-ups with 10 kettle rows per side safe to do daily?
  4. Okay thanks, yeah I found the poster from the startbodyweight.com and was going to find some exercises to balance it out. So far my routine has got me down 35 pounds.
  5. I am just trying to loose weight so I can get my self healthy enough to start serious strength training and the such.
  6. Okay I have been working on the program a while. Mind you I never really stretch with my workouts which I have been told can lead to issues, so yeah. 30 squats 15 push ups 15 knee-push ups 15 full crunches/lifting my legs instead/with my upper body 30 lunges 15 diamond push ups 15 d-p on knees 15 sit ups 15 side kettel rows each side 25 second plank 45 jumping jacks repeat once more I do that every second day 3 times a week. every day I don't do that I do M-100's because I am still to blubbery to run without getting really winded. I warm up by running up and down a flight of stairs six times. <- M-100I was going to move up to three sets soon and might just amalgamate the knee push ups with the normal push ups. I don't know if I was going to start move in skipping for my cardio conditioning because I heard running is really hard on the knees. So yeah, any opinion's are greatly appreciated as well as resources.
  7. Best way I found to tackle cravings was to just turn off tv and everything and just sit there. And stare at the kitchen or something till I get really bored. Also dont have said craving in the house. p.s I am 17 so my stress levels are barren. But thatd what I do.
  8. I did and I am now down another 13 pounds and loving it, I started moving into daily work outs to help even out the body weight curve. Thx for your support!

  10. Sorry for your loss. I wanted to tell you the best way to stay focused and on the ball is to get a small book for journaling something you don't have to put down and can constantly keep on you as a reminder I find its really helpful with keeping with a commitment when it has its own body and manifestation always on you. Keep up the awesome work and good luck.

  15. Hello there. I am Doctor_T_Love and I am apparently *Looks at card* A human monk. Cool. Okay well lets see right now the most my work out consists of is using my (vast) body weight to train primarily. I also beat the living (Censored) out of my heavy bag and thats about it. I dont really eat healthy yet. So yeh. Uhhhhmmmmmmmm.... I dont know the rebellion is probaly the most user friendly fitness community I have found so far (as to why I joined it). I am not a licensed doctor either so that up there is actually a falsity. I really have only ever done my high school gym program as well as Judo and Iado. Though neither of the martial arts I have really stuck with. So yeh thats me. - Doctor_T_Love Doctor T Love, level 1 Human monk STR 2|DEX 4|STA 1|CON 1|WIS 4|CHA 3 "Wait, don't press that button?
