Challenge Accepted! - ShutUpAndSquat
KCKincaid replied to ShutUpAndSquat's topic in Level 1 Rebels (First Time Challengers)
Very ambitious with the workout plan! If it seems to difficult to fit all those work-outs into your everyday schedule, you could try 3x a week too But I like your goals- 18 replies

PonyDan's 6 Week Challenge
KCKincaid replied to PonyDan's topic in Level 1 Rebels (First Time Challengers)
These are wonderful goals! A while back, MFP really helped me out...and then I got lazy. If you stick with it, it really helps to keep track of your in-take which is important for understanding how much you eat and the quality of food you're eating. I also like the eating out goal. It will be healthier and save you money! I wish you the best!!- 4 replies

Danny Had to Start Somewhere, So Do I
KCKincaid replied to Targaryen's topic in Level 1 Rebels (First Time Challengers)
I used MyFitnessPal a while at the beginning of this year and it really helped me to keep track of what I eat. (Then I got sick and it all went to crap, lol). But I really think it's a great tool! Also, I like the swimming idea! Swimming works out your whole body -
I like the bringing your lunch idea. Everytime I forget my lunch, I end up going out somewhere and eating WAY more calories and junk than I would if I had remembered my lunch. Not to mention, it gets expensive!

Help battling the dreaded sugar monster
KCKincaid replied to KCKincaid's topic in Daily Battle Logs and Epic Quests
That's such a good idea! I will totally have to give that a try. It is such an addiction for me and I've never had an addiction to kick. I know this is going to be a big challenge. I will totally try the one reward day a week plan and see how it pans out. Thank you so much!! -
Hey there! I'm still pretty new on this site. I'm doing the 60 day challenge, but thus far am failing. I've been struggling with depression and have thus been on a sugar binge. I'm really struggling to give it up or even cut down on the sweets. Does anyone have any tips? I could use all the advice I can get!

Hello! This is my first challenge on NerdFitness and I'm excited to get started! My main quest: LOSE 10 POUNDS I hope to do this by: Working out 3 times a week for at least 20 mins EAT LESS SUGAR!!! 1 piece of candy or cookie PER WEEK Cut grains down to 1 serving per day I am TERRIBLE about working out. It's just horrible. So I'm really hoping this challenge will help motivate me. Though, the sugar will probably be my toughest challenge. I am such a sugar junkie and once I get started eating candy or sweets, I have a hard time stopping myself. LifeQuest: SAVE UP $1,500 My boyfriend is in the Navy and once he gets stationed somewhere (he's still in school fo another 8 months for now) we're going to move in together. So, I need to save up to be able to do so. Also, I'm terrible with money...so there's that. I'm really hoping to stay motivated! I think I may do the accountabilibuddies too. My will power is weak, I need all the help I can get to stay on track. Wish me luck!
