  1. alrighty, days 1 and 2 are DONE what did i do to work towards my goals?? I went to the gym for the first time in 3 weeks on Tuesday; my buddy and I crushed it good!! I also spent Wednesday doing some more research on ab-specific workout material (hence, 6-pack). I've also been eating clean the past couple days AND stuck with the cold showers (God they suck...) However, I did bitch out on going to karate tonight. I knoooooow, fuck me... Whatever, baby steps, right? More to come tomorrow, so see ya then
  2. HELLO!!!!! I have returned to the Rebellion a little older, a little wiser, and ready to conquer! This thread will be the chronicling of the great adventure that is my life, starting with my first 4 challenges for the next 2 months (i.e. before Halloween). They are: Numbah 1) Complete the 28 Day Handstand Challenge (because I want people to sing me "Happy Birthday" while I'm upside down. That'd be jokes, no?) Numbah 2) Complete the 100 Pushup Challenge (I desperately want to shove this one in my ex-roommate's face when I'm done ) Numbah 3) Complete the IMPOSSIBLE ABS Challenge (I thought it'd be fun to do a cosplay photo shoot, plus it'll be Halloween so double bonus xD) Numbah 4) Complete the 30 Day Cold Shower Therapy (because fear is the mind-killer. Look up the reference, you'll be glad you did.) Numbah 5) Get my full black belt. Finally. (using the cold shower therapy to get myself back to the dojo; motivation's been sucky for years, to be honest...) So that's that. Let's do this!

  4. Hey fellow rebels! Listen, I've been doing pretty good on the last 6 week challenge but I've sort of fallen into a slump the past week. I'm pretty sure I know why, but for the life of me I can't get off my ass and bust out a decent workout. It's been since last Friday since I had a workout and I'm not sure if I can push through these last couple weeks. I should also probably mention that I'm going to Laurier University next Monday for school and I've been helping some of my friends through some rough personal stuff. Can someone please help me replenish my motivation bar? Pretty please?!?!? Thanks a bundle, mikeylol69 PS: I might not be posting in the right place so I apologize in advance (new to forums :/)
  5. i too, live in toronto. not entirely as of next monday, moving to kitchener-waterloo for school (laurier, baby!) so does that count?

  7. Hi Nerd Fitness Rebels! My name is ********, but you can call me mikeylol69. I'm new to the whole "internet community" thing as I mostly just lurk and read other people's posts (I know, I know...) In any event, this is also my first challenge since I found this website so here we go: Main Goal: 5 pull-ups Sub Goals: a) work out a minimum 3 days/week get a proper 8 hours of sleep every day c) reduce junk intake to once/week Life Quest: play piano in front of people Fitness/Diet Quest: go back to karate (practice it/attend) Motivation: to be a better me, that maybe if I’m better I’ll have more confidence in myself Alright, I think that's it (if anyone actually sees this and thinks I'm forgetting something, lemme know). I'm off to start my challenge now, so wish me luck NF!
