  1. Glad you had such a great weekend! Reading all that made me hungry. About how long do these workouts take?
  2. Looks like you are off to a great start!
  3. Hi, Kibcy. Just wanted to wish you good luck! If you feel up to sharing info about the movement multivitamin, I'd love to follow along with your journey.
  4. You really make me want to do F1! So nice to see you having such fun with it.
  5. Had to giggle at your divebomber comment. The first several times I tried them, I thought I was going to snap in half! Nice work!
  6. I'm not sure if it's just my brain giving up, or if it actually doesn't hurt as much, but they usually cause less and less pain over time.
  7. Look at you making smart compromises! Back pain sucks, so I'm glad you aren't letting it get you down. Nice work!
  8. Nice work! I don't think I've ever exercised in the rain before. Did you get caught in it, or did you just decide to stick to your schedule, rain or shine?
  9. Wow, what incredible pics! You've been getting some serious work done.
  10. Nice to see you back! Your challenges were always so inspiring to follow along with.
  11. No problem! I have my handy NF folder that I accumulated my links in. I actually didn't read through all the articles in my free weeks. There were only about 20-30, but I just wasn't interested in sitting down very long to go through them. Funny how things change. I'm happy to help! It wasn't so much that I was feeling tired as that I'd just planned on resting the day before the challenge. It seemed silly to waste a good day though. I have to agree with you there. That man has been holding back some serious knowledge!
  12. It sounds like we have a lot in common. I'm really looking forward to following along with your challenge!
  13. I love your story, and it looks like you've got some nice goals. What do you think of Fitocracy so far?
  14. Welcome, Hisme! Your goals look great. Good luck with your challenge!
  15. It's something I use to do several times a week! When I decided to start repairing my metabolism and learning how to eat naturally again, I had to drop it for a while. It makes me RAVENOUS, lol. I still do a HIIT workout occasionally, but lately I've been focused on quality reps.
  16. And, as promised, it's time for more links. These are about moving better, and several are directed at ladies, though a lot of the tips apply to everyone. Valgus collapse Anterior pelvic tilt Cranky elbows Thoracic flow Quick and easy ways to feel and move better (This is one of MANY installments.) Counteracting high heels
  17. Sat: Mobility Assisted pistols Quad crawl exploration (Bear, cougar, frog, kong, side ape, and making "new" variations) x 20 minutes Crab and scorpion reaches to cool down Sun I intended this to be a rest day, but felt too good after my daily warm up. Weighted pistols (on stool) Still felt good, so decided to do some loaded MovNat Nice and sweaty, opted for a hip flow Finished with crab and scorpion reaches (super slow) So what was meant to be about 10-15 minutes turned into an hour, lol.
  18. Haha, you must be starving if veggie talk makes you hungrier. How long do you fast?
  19. The curls were always my favorite part of the "Shoulders & Arms" day. Looks like you are making some serious modifications already (in a good way). Hope your back holds up!
  20. "Sitting in the hot tub" sounds like the best place to watch anything from. I hope you enjoy your recovery day!
  21. Ah, yes. Sorry. I meant to type "long," but my fingers aren't always as fast as my brain. I totally get what you mean about embracing the pain and the sense of accomplishment that follows. That's how I've always felt about HIIT, especially when I followed Zuzana of Bodyrock for so long. Glad to know I hadn't just imagined that you enjoyed it, lol.
  22. Yes, many happy feelings. I'm fairly confident when it comes to physical tasks. I know that as long as I show up and put in the work, I'll continue to get closer to what I want. Diet and life, on the other hand, definitely prove a bit trickier. I appreciate the support! Thanks! They seem to know just what to do and when, don't they? Thanks, Aeryn! I can't promise the veggies will be exciting, but they'll at least be new-to-me.
  23. Ugh, sucks to hear that you are hurting. Hopefully you can take it easy and the pain will go away. Did you get to climb today?
