  1. Day 1 and 2 are heavier lower and upper body days. While day 3 and 4 are higher volume days. On day 1 I start with squats and leg curl for 5 reps an 5 sets. Then follow this with some accessory lower body exercises in the 6-8 rep range for 4 sets. Day 2 is similar sets rep schemes just using bench press and db rows to start. The day 3 and day 4 workouts I lift in the 8-12 rep ranges and do a total of 20 - 25 sets over 6-8 different exercises. I lift on Saturdays and then just try to fit the other ones in wherever I can.
  2. Hello S Skywalker, Thank you for your interest. I do currently have a weight training plan. I have two upper body workouts that focus mostly on pushing and pulling exercises, the "Big Bang for your buck exercises". Then I have two lower body days with the same idea of using compound exercises to get the most out of my workouts. My two challenges are finding time durning the week to get two workouts in. The weekends are fine but the week my schedule is always flexible and ever changing with minimal notice to accommodate my clients. The other thing this ever changing schedule affects is my eating schedule. It sometimes makes it hard to get enough food in me. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.
  3. My quest is to train eat and grow like a warrior. Swinging a warhammer through life's challenges is not easy so I want to be strong, healthy, and heavily muscled to handle anything that comes my way. Main challenge - Gain 10 lbs of muscle mass Mission 1 ) Weight train 4 times per week for 50 minutes Mission 2) Eat 3 solid meals per day and 2 liquid meals Mission 3) Sleep 7 hours a night at least 5 nights a week Mission 4) Stretch for 10 minutes at least 4 times a week
  4. Hello All, I have been following the nerd fitness site for 6 months now and love the concept of leveling up your life. I have been involved in sports and fitness all my life and now make my living as a Personal Trainer. I also love video games and quest driven books and think I would be just as happy making my living playing Skyrim. However, Skyrim can be a bit addictive so I have sold my xbox and have decided to level up my life, my fitness and the bad ass character I am going to make on Nerd Fitness. I've never been one to contribute to forms or websites but I am looking forward to being a part of this great community and contributing my fitness knowledge to help others where possible.
