I just finished a short novella called The Metamorphosis of the Prime Intellect. Definitely not for the faint of heart (and 18+ I'd say) but if you love stories about singularity you'll probably enjoy it! I certainly did!

Hello everyone! The title says it all: I am La Espada and I want to be a police officer! I’ve been a chubby kid for most of my life. Strong, but chubby! I’m still strong but chubby now, but I need to become a metaphorical gazelle if I want to succeed as a police officer. Hell, I need to become a runner just to pass the physical testing to BECOME a police recruit! I have a year and a half before it’s time to pass my physical fitness exam, but I have other short term goals. I have a 5K coming up in December and I would love to run it within 30:00. That’s why I’m here: I have goals and I want to meet them! I think joining a group of like-minded people will help me reach those goals. I hope you all can teach me some great stuff and keep me accountable… I’ll certainly do my best to help anyone else in any way I can! Thanks for reading! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
