  1. I didn't really like spaghetti squash very much found it kind of mushy but I may have cooked it wrong. I made some awesome ribs/ sweet potatoes / south western pasta stuff the other day that was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Not paleo though :-/ tonight tunafish sandwich with blu cheese

  10. So I found out yesterday that NASM was running a financing deal $50 down and no payments till feb 2014 with 0 interest. I am now a student of the National Academy of Sports Medicine and my books are on the way so I'm changing my first goal, instead of saving money to get the books my new goal will be to study 1 hour every day no matter what.

  12. People call me ma'am all the time and I hate it. I try to make my voice sound deeper during initial conversation. You can use it to your advantage though if you are calling with a problem once they call it wrong if you act incredibly offended you can 99% of the time get what you were calling about. I got a new xbox two years after the expired warrantee like this lol

  14. I always do pass/fail. For me personally the grading system allows me to accept less then my best. Putting it all on the line makes it less likely I will waver and say well I can still get a B. For me it just gives me an excuse to fail. I'm my own toughest critic though and by no means should this be used as anyone else's standard it's just how I work best

  16. This challenge is going to be a little different for me. See I'm stuck in a rut I can't seem to get out of. At the moment I work for family and if everything continues on its course I will probably become part owner with my brother when my dad retires. The problem is that I know how much my brother has given into the business already as my dads partner since the beginning and I don't think its fair to come in and take part of what he made for no reason other then I happened to be born his brother. All of this depresses me a lot, the only legacy I may ever have was really just a piece of what Should have been my brothers. Wow I really got carried away with the self pity there so back on track I want to pursue a new career as a personal trainer and this is how I plan to accomplish that Goal 1 I have decided to go for my NASM certification, it's about $700 dollars and I have $130 saved plus all my change and some scrap aluminum I have saved. It's not much but money is tight and I know how useful this could be at home but with my girlfriends support I want to have $400 by the end of the 6 weeks. I know is going to be hard because like I said money is not something I have much of, with an older dog who has cancer vet bills and meds are expensive not to mention the price of feeding two 70 lb dogs and a kitten and with hearing season here putting away $45 a week may be impossible but I will defiantly give it my best shot. Goal 2 Become my own best billboard. No one wants to the advice from a personal trainer who doesn't Look like he follows his own advice so I want to continue on with my heavy lifting and maybe start adding in some running a couple times a week again. Goal 3 My very own box of motivation. This one is gonna sound weird but back when I boxed my coach had a box of index cards. And on each index card was a motivational quote. If you were having a hard day you went to the box and pulled out a card and 9 times out of 10 you would pull out the perfect quote for what you were dealing with. Thing was like magic and so I'm going to make my own. By the end of the six weeks I want to have 150 quoted in my box and I would appreciate any help you could give me. Life goal Become a personal trainer with his own studio.
