  1. Steve, I know you know what you are doing so I wont go into ridiculous detail here. That being said, if you are plateau-ing I would recommend FORCE EATING for a day or two before you try a reset. From Sparta with love, Herr
  2. Goal 1: 385 this week, missed an attempt at 405 Goal 2: no attempt Goal 3: Weight stable, Bf 11.5% Goal 4: I am weak, and my dietary motivation seems to be missing, not eating terrible but I know I dont have my diet on lockdown like I should. Goal 5: Pullups come later this week, so we will have to wait on that. Ass kick of the week: Tabata treadmill pushes, took the pain train for the ride, loved every second.
  3. Just popping my head in to see how youre progressing. Sucks that youre under the weather, but maybe some rest will do you good. Keep on trucking.
  4. Update on my goals: Goal 1: Currently Deadlifting 375 (obviously not while I type this but earlier this week) Goal 2: Mastered the 95lb dumbbell, bailed on 100 yesterday Goal 3: 1 Pound has gone missing from my daily weigh ins, calculated BF% at 12 this week. Goal 4: Still a naughty spartan, Had chinese food this week as well as candy, but no alcohol (baby steps) Goal 5: Working on re-establishing lat dominance on pull-ups by doing two finger lat activation pull downs, next week its time to hit the big boy bar again. Self assbeating came in the form of 100lb walking lunges from exit to exit. Closely followed by tabata knee kicks and elbows on the heavy bag. Any ideas on how to kick my own ass some more for slacking?
  5. Goal 1: Reach 400lbs on the Deadlift Goal 2: Master the 100lbs Dumbbell snatch Goal 3: Lose 5lbs (preferably of fat) Goal 4: Re-establish healthy eating patterns (I've been a naughty spartan) Goal 5: Weighted pullups, minimum of 10 pounds for 10 reps I have already hit 370 cleanly on the Deadlift, and I have hit 100 on the snatch but not perfect. I have recently been in the mindset that it doesnt matter what I eat because of my gym routine, I am not gaining weight but Im certainly not looking better. Im cheating myself, and not holding myself accountable. I might have to kick my own ass one of these days.
  6. As a spartan I find the new version of 300 particularly offensive. When we were holding down the gates we were not all lubed up and shiny. We were red with the blood of our enemies. Also, were you aware that we spartans get paid a hefty sum for our sweat? It is said that a single drop added to regular cologne can make a whole battalion of women moist from 50 yards. We are sort of savages though, they got that part right.
  7. I think I saw a crossfit WOD named Fran done for time. Dude finished it in under 2 minutes IIRC. Motivated me to create the 7TDS, and it was completely awe inspiring. I too on occasion enjoy the zen like approach to lifting, that is, do whatever I feel like doing. That is my reward to myself after a hard month of tracked workout domination.
  8. New DL PR, 370. HAOOH HAOOH HAOOH
  9. Solid work. Don't you feel so much better too?
  10. ARTS FESTTTTT. Two words: FUCK YEAH. Hopefully Ill be back up for arts fest this summer, If I am maybe we will run into each other. Hopefully not full speed though, Im kind of heavy.
  11. My theory on mind over matter: If you don't mind vomiting, it wont matter when it happens. During/post workout that is. It's called the workout flu.
  12. Oh, I thought you did undergrad at State too for some reason. Are you going to take summer classes? Summers up at State get realllll wild.
