  1. Barely, but I'm still kickin. Literally kicking. Kickboxing is whipping me into shape real quickly.

  4. Well thanks for the support guys. Unfortunately, due to everything going on and my getting bronchitis twice in two months I think it's safe to say this challenge is a bust for me. No worries though, I've still been eating right and I plan to get back to working out asap. I'm sad that my first challenge as a monk didn't pan out all that well, but I'm still hopeful for next time!
  5. Thanks Beau, I'm alright. I'm getting settled in to my new job and school. Kind of stressing out about everything but it's probably just because I'm tired. I also skipped Kickboxing today, because of the exhaustion (go figure). Well, other than that, I've still been eating well and working out! Not much else to tell. Also, sorry for not being on as much as I'd like I just really don't get any more time these days.

Haha, I'm just on a quest to find healthy snacks I can make and save for another day so I an stop munching on things that are NOT in my 90% paleo meal plan. I figured Kale Chips would be a great place to start but they're definitely not something I could just quickly grab if storage isn't easy.
  8. So I made Kale Chips today. Can I first say..yumm!? Second, they didn't even make it off the tray! Partially because I really don't know how I should store them so that they keep their crispness. Any suggestions?

  11. I was stuck like that for a whole 24hrs a few days ago. Just grrrr. It's almost like you need an equation for what to upgrade when.
  12. Hmm, so I'm trying to keep my food journal in Excel since I have to do it for another class. I feel like I should take a class in Microsoft Office now that I can see I know nothing beyond Word and Powerpoint.
  13. GARLIC. IS. MY. FRIEND! I can't believe I've been a foodie for this long and never cared to use fresh garlic as a spice but it's made everything I cook that much better.
  14. I swear this game is going to make me end up being late to a class. Every time I get a couple of minutes in the hallway I start playing the damn thing. Yesterday I looked up to realize I was going the opposite direction of my next class x(
  15. Alright! So time to run down this week. It's the spring semester of school and my first time as a full time student. It's definitely been stressful trying to get everything squared away but I made it. I've been to kickboxing twice now and I love it. I ran a mile yesterday and my time was 12min, but I plan on having it down to at least 10min (maybe 8 at best) by the end of the semester. I've kept to my goal of 90% paleo; only cheating with a personal pizza on Monday and a small burger today. I tried Kale yesterday with my breakfast and it was great, I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future. For my pushup challenge, I've been failing on that one. I only kept up with it three days this week so I won't get the bonus for that one. All in all it wasn't as bad as a week as I thought it was and I'm looking forward to next week!

  19. Barbarians, archers, goblins and I should have Giants by tomorrow morning. I was raided some time during class today so my resources went kaput but I'm trying to build that back up asap. I need to find this wiki that you speak of.
  20. xD You know it's fun when you're geeking out though. I could definitely use some attack strategies. Up until now I've just been using barbarians to bumrush the wall and warriors when to throw support.

  22. Took way too long to get the castle built but it's done!
  23. Started Kickboxing today. Got my butt kicked but I'm happy. Thanks to the professor I got a little insight on Resting Metabolic Rate among other personal trainer secrets. I'm looking forward to everything this class has in store! On the other hand, I'm still pretty sick. The pressure in my ears is not going anywhere and I'm starting to think I have a double ear infection. Luckily, I'm coughing up all the mucus but it's still bothering me when it settles. I've eaten pretty well the past few of days. I ate a subway pizza yesterday for lunch, because....well...it looked good. It had spinach on it though
