  1. Resistance bans are always good if you have them, otherwise you can do push-ups, sit-ups. Shoulder tap push-ups and spider push-ups work good they are more advanced but definitely help. Jumping jacks, running in place, and shadow boxing are all good too.
  2. Building muscle is without a doubt the best way to eliminate that jiggly fat you have hanging over your tight jeans. Another good approach is the programs by Beachbody (Insanity, P90X, T25) they work really well. http://insanefitnesscoach.blogspot.com/?m=1
  3. Using free weights are you're best bet, the resistance machines you don't get the same effects because they are perfectly balanced when you do your sets. When you use the free weights your muscles need to keep your muscles well balanced and that will put more stress on your muscles and produce better results. I found that doing supersets with high reps will get you results. An example which will probably seem complicated and confusing but it works. You pick a muscle group lets say chest for example, what you do is pick 3-4 different workout exercises and do 24-30 reps let's say (8-10 Benchpresses, 8-10 Incline presses, 8-10 dumbell flys) that would be the makeup of one set, you then take a break for 1-2 minutes, do this 3 times (3 sets) and you completed chest in 10-15 minutes. Doing it this way will definitely burn fat and get you results.
  4. A nice and convenient way to get results would be trying the exercise programs made by Beachbody especially the new T-25, it offers solid cardio and muscle building activities that dont require weights. The best part of it is that it's only for 25 minutes. There's also P90X and Insanity but I highly recommend T-25 for its convenience and the results that I have seen. I wish you the best of luck. 5. I love lifting, but I get sick of doing the same workouts I have plenty of weights and equipment. I heard that Body Beast program videos from beachbody work good, has anyone ever tried it?
  6. Watching your calories is a good idea but it's not necessarily the best thing to do because you burn so many when you workout and your muscles need the calories and protein to synthesize and build muscle. They however have to be clean and healthy calories, I'm not saying go treat yourself to a big mac and fries.
  7. I think every person who loves lifting hates cardio. I'm definately one of them, I get it out of the way before I lift, usually 10-20 minutes does the trick.
  8. I've been lifting for years now, my srength has definately increased and I recently found that supersetting is the way to go. I've been interested in trying the Body Beast dvd program, has anyone ever tried it?
  9. I'm probably going to have a hard time during football season, all my friends love pigging out. What I do is eat healthy during the week and I allow myself one cheat day, I don't overindulge though.
  10. What it seems like is you dont have time because you are so busy. I'm sure the gym might get busy, right? I have the same problem, I started doing the T-25 workout from Beachbody fitness, I'm seeing results. What's nice is it's only for 25 minutes too. It's the guy who did those Insanity exercise programs. It's definatley a good motivational starting point. I'm currently working for Beachbody, contact me if you're interested. Best of luck to you. http://www.beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/p4beachbodcoach
