  1. Got my taste of filthy 50 a couple weeks ago. The wall balls and burpees were what got to me. Rx'd in 21:14
  2. I got to make my own birthday WOD last month and it went like this: 3 rounds for time -7 pull ups -27 thrusters @45/35# -86 double unders They all added to my DOB. Some friends thought 45# would be too easy, so they went with 65#. I couldn't let them outwork me at my own WOD, so of course I did it as well.
  3. Hi! Just went through the past hour reading a bunch of articles after a friend linked to the site. This community seemed really fun and interesting ,so I decided to sign up. My story is that I've been really skinny my whole life. Getting married 2 years ago really made me try to change that. I was at the heaviest I'd ever been on the wedding day (158 lbs at a height of 5'8"), but I didn't feel strong, due to typical gym workout sessions. I picked up CrossFit last year on my own and eventually found a box that my wife and I now call our second home. Getting her to join was quite hard at first, but she might be more addicted than myself now. I've been supplementing CrossFit with extra olympic lifting and gymnastics exercises, but gaining weight has been hard for me. Currently, I'm anywhere from 150-155 pounds. That's okay for now, since I have a half marathon next weekend, but I really want to make some gains and try to reach 165-170 by the end of the year. I did tae kwon do for 15 years and love playing all kinds of sports. Just wanted to say hello... Michael
