  1. Hang in there! Glad to hear that you and kids are feeling better!
  2. Tomorrow will be better! We all have "those days". Feel better!
  3. They posed the price for the academy. $99, I think it was. There is a cheaper option with less features as well. Only good through Friday though.
  4. Great job! Hope everyone in the household is feeling better! Yes, scales can play evil tricks on us but sounds like yours is simply showing you, that changes in your food can make a big difference! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the next couple of weeks! Stay strong :-)
  5. All is well here. Strained my calf the other day, so my steps have been lower. But still over 10,000 a day! Thinking about joining the NF academy. I need to shake things up a bit, as the scale is stuck. I know the scale is not the end all, be all. But I want to see it moving again. Enjoying seeing everyone's progress throughout this challenge. We all have struggles. But sticking with it, is what couns and is the way to get the results we all want. Perfection is not the goal (not for me anyway). Consistancy and determination is what will get us where we want to be!
  6. Hello! :-) I'm here, been reading the messages on my phone, meaning to comment when I get to the computer as the phone is iffy. Anyway, going strong. Glad to see your doing well. Nothing really surprising about this challenge so far (for me). I may be joing the academy now that I know the amount. I'll have to look over the budget on Friday.
  7. So gald to see you here, my friend! We can kick butt together on our goals! Heehee, still can't keep my hoop up for any length of time. Longer than when I tried with you, but not well. Oh well, I will try again. How was your week? Hugs!
  8. Hey SkullHand! Just checking so see how you are and if today has been better. Hugs, Gaia668
  9. Checking in ... stress level this week has overall been managable. I state this first, as stress can be the first thing to "throw you off plan". As far as food, I did eat a naughty meal one day and felt horrible after. Yes mentally, but more physically. I am not used to eating naughty. Overall did well. Exercise has gone well. Over 10,000 steps tracked through FitBit everyday. Yesterday, I earned my first 50,000 steps in one day! Have not weighrd in as I have a swollen knee from all the walking. I will have a water weight gain (most likely based on past experience) but will weigh in soon. Time to check in with others. Hope everyone had a good week!
  10. So far so good, this week. Eating is on track, although I really want some chocolate! A snag is that my oven is not working and it is making meals more difficult. I am the only one in the house that eats low carb/paleo. Wish the others would join me but it is their bodies. I have been eating this way fulltime since the beginning of July. So, when they crave something, I have to smell it. Anyway, working on my attitude but today it is more difficult. Feeling a little snappy. (just breathe) Guess an extra meditation is order for today! Workouts are going well, about to go for my evening walk. Keeping above 10,000 steps everyday. Still Zombie training. Overall, all is well here! :-)
  11. Definately better than ice cream! Oh goodness, hubbies! Love them, BUT wish they would not bring naughty stuff home. Can you guess, I have one that does that too? ;-) Stay strong :-)
  12. Hello all! I am litle behind with where I am supposed to post ;-) Anyway, the prompt idea is fantastic! OK, challenge most ... eating seems to be under control, but it would be easier if the rest of the household was on board. They bring things into the hosue that they should not. I don't eat it, but it is a bit frustrating to have to see it. I guess the most challenging thing is to give myself time. I am very impatient as far as progress goes, seeing results. I know slow and steady wins the race but as I said, sometimes I am impatient.
  13. Positives: So far so good. Ate on plan, but that has not been a huge challenge lately, as I am pretty determined that this way of eating is from now on! Tried the Zombie Run ... too fun! A nice way to add some fun to walking. Running is still hard with my bad knee, but the other one is still good, so I will keep plugging away and hopefully with time, I will improve. Am over 10,000steps on my FitBit :-) Drank lots of water. No heavy stress today, so mediation was not needed. I will still do my normal, before bed meditation though. Not so positives: Weighed in to start this challenge. 236.8 (although that means 85 pounds down from where I started, so that is a positive) but I am still tired of the 200s. Hubby took “before challenge†pictures for me, in my sports bra and workout pants. OH MY GOODNESS! Well, I feel 100 times better than I did when I was over 300 pounds but am not happy with the pictures. Kinda brought me down. I do have to keep in mind that I still have approx. 100 pounds to go and the body shaping will continue. I just wish the outside looked that way I feel on the inside. :-/ Overall, a good day!
