  1. 2 weeks since I've been vigorously tracking myself and pushing myself to my brink, and I must say thus far I am extremely happy with my results. I'm down to 206 pounds from a bit over 220, and I'm holding fast to my diet and excersize routines. As far as vigorously tracking myself goes, every morning I weigh myself (after a trip to the restroom of course) and I take one shirtless snapshot, 15 in total so far. The pictures don't tell an amazing story so far, but at the end when I string them all together in a small video I think it will tell a better story ( Making everything an art project sure am a nerd . I have always been a more lean build, other than the fat of course. And my main reason for posting here is to get some feedback on my workout routine and will it help me gain any mass. The tools I have to work with are dumbells 10lbs - 50lbs a row machine and a lat pulldown. Routine so far after quite a bit of evolving in the process. I've settled on this 10 minutes warmup on treadmill (2 minutes walking remainder 5.5mph) 10xreps 10lbs bench press (x2 dumbells) 10xreps 10lbs goblet squat 10xreps 20lbs seated rows 10xreps 10lbs deadlift (x2 dumbells) 10xreps 20lbs lat pulldown From here the excersizes stay the same but with decreasing reps and increasing weight. I take no rest periods and carry the weights with me in between stations. So the rest of my workout would look like this. (the rows and lats go up in increments of 20 i beleive) 9xreps 15lbs 8xreps 25lbs 7xreps 35lbs 6xreps 45lbs 5xreps 50lbs 10 min cooldown on treadmill Takes me a little over an hour total. I've never been a big muscle head and never been able to get into lifting so I'm kind of excited that I have been able to. Any feedback or advice will be awesome.
  2. I go with smoke flavoring salt pepper and oregano - burn that pepper and oregano on the outside of the steak then add a dash of smoke flavor to the pan let it simmer a few more seconds on each side then add a pinch of salt on your plate if you like. oh goodness I am having that for dinner now.
  3. It was always Rocky for me (original) that always makes me want to go train and mash up Apollo Creed's face. Other than that, anything with Pantera in the soundtrack. I hear Pantera and my brain clicks then I have to go do something intense (like camping).
  4. My current goals are to cut down to 200 by the end of this month - get back up to running 5 or more miles at a time because its something to do, and just be less sedentary. So far I'm doing well. I have cut alot of the bad things from my diet and I am at the gym everynight for at least 45 minutes. So all in all I feel fantastic.
  5. Hiya =) I'm 27 years old and I live in the golden state of California. I started out the beginning of this year 245 pounds and decided to whip myself into shape. I came across this site here and thought It would fit in line with my current goals. After making some steps to eat healthier and exercise I have dropped to 209 (20 of those pounds the last 2 weeks trying the paleo diet). I love my video games and half assed guitar playing, and .... netflix. Netflix really assisted in my weight gain but I stopped watching so much. That's me in a bunch of half sentences stuck together in a grammatical atrocity. Nice to meet you.
