  1. That would be awesome! Are you on Facebook? I'll PM you on Nerd Fitness so you have the link to the event I created. I just found out about this, so we're still trying to find members. Feel free to add anyone you think might be interested!
  2. I'm looking to put together a team to run the Niagara Ragnar. It's a 300km relay race from Cobourg to Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada. May 19-20, 2017. We need 12 team members in total. Is anyone interested? I'm not a competitive runner by any means, so it would be more about having a great time, and the challenge of finishing it. Here's a link if anyone wants more info: https://www.runragnar.com/ragnar
  3. Thanks for the encourgement everyone! Lol you're right Hero, I have been eating TERRIBLY the last two days, so my food grade is already at a C. Techincally they didn't contain glucose or flour, but they were terrible choices none-the-less. I should know better, but the chocolate bars, fries, and chips helped calm my stressed nerves. I have an interview tomorrow for a great job that came to me (I wasn't looking). I can't pass it up, but super stressed because I had to ask for a reference from my previous (and amazingly wonderful!) employer who thought I'd be returning to work for her. Super em
  4. Cool because I don't think I've ever conversed with anyone from Serbia before. Canada here
  5. Welcome! I like your goals, especially your life side quest. I might try meditation for my next challenge
  6. Welcome! Having a gym membership in school is awesome, I didn't use mine until third year, but made good use of it once I got into the habit. Stick with NF and you'll have abs in no time!
  7. Welcome! Glad to have you here I was wondering if your grandfather has been tested for sleep apnea? It often goes hand in hand with heart problems. If he does have sleep apnea then all the bloodline men in the family should get tested too. If left untreated it can cause heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, and many other health problems too. Best wishes for your grandfathers quick recovery!
  8. Welcome! I love your quest quote, it's so true. I'm just wondering if you meant 30 lbs in 6 weeks for your primary quest? That would be a lot to lose so quickly. From what I've read 0.5 - 2 lbs per week is the reccomended rate so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. I have about 50 lbs to lose in total too. Glad to have you here!
  9. I didn't check in yesterday, but I did do a really good workout last night! Treadmill for 45 minutes - combination of walking, jogging, and running. Then free weights, squat jumps, Russian twists, and cool down stretches. Food was out the window yesterday. I had a (whole) Cocoa Camino chocolate bar, a few Annies gummy candies, a slice of homemade bread, and some Kashi Oat Squares. BUT I didn't buy a pack of Oreos or a large bag of chips (which is what I WANTED to do). So I'm cutting myself some slack on this one. Here's to healthier choices in the face of Target store temptation on an empty
  10. Copy/Paste from Week 1 Challenge Sept 16-Oct 27 Hi all! This will be my first official quest. I joined the Level 1 Rebels in the last week of the previous challenge, and am looking forward to being able to level up this time around. My quest is the same as last time, although with my previous week of experience I am far more knowledgeable about what works for me with regards to exercise, and what will keep me motivated and on track. So here is my mission: Krunchy's Main Quest: to lose fat and gain muscle. Ideally at a fat loss of 2 lbs a week. My Three Dragons: 1. No flour and
