  1. Awesome goals...Vacation is difficult...my goal is to just maintain my weight through that entire week LOL....Much debauchery shall take place... I am totally jealous about Comic Con...stupid Cincinnati is so far from everything...
  2. ZOMG I didn't realize I hit 1k posts...I wish I knew which one it was LOL
  3. Christina approves of your progress...
  4. You're going to do awesome this challenge... I'm happy to hear your new job is amazballs...you totally deserve it!
  5. I'm ALIVE! Here's my new challenge...it will be difficult to say the least.
  6. Main quest This challenge is going to be a bit different. I am going to have some specific challenges in meeting my goals in these 6 weeks. I will be going to Cancun midway through this challenge and I intend on enjoying myself thoroughly. This will probably involve a lot of alcohol so I have made one of my goals to combat this problem. I also have a couple other things I want to keep doing. As with last challenge there are going to be three different categories. Strength, Mind, and Agility. My motivation Beast is a genius as well as possessing super human strength and agility. I will achieve some portion of his level of awesomeness in this challenge. The goals 1. I took the time to get my body right. It is now time to get my mind right. I will read, research, learn something new or expand current knowledge at least 4 hours a week for this challenge. Something posted at the gym a 1 hour workout is only 4% of your day. I can take 8% and make my mind and body right and still have time left to spare. Grading A. Complete B. 5 Weeks C. 4 Weeks D. 3 Weeks F. < 2 Weeks 2. Beasts Agility is legendary. Last Saturday I did my first Insanity class and it was ROUGH. I will go to the insanity class every Saturday except the week I leave. Grading A. Complete B. Missed 1 Week C. Missed 2 Weeks F. Anything else 3. I will squat my current body weight 3x225x15 by the time I end this challenge. It may not seem like much but I have been wanting to squat my body weight for a while. I will get there this challenge. Do you see those muscles...I want to be ripped like that! Grading Pass/Fail 4. I ran 4 miles Sunday. I will find/register/and participate in an actual 5k. I want my time to be under 36 minutes. That equats out to about a 12 minute mile which is a little faster than I generally run but I can do this. Grading: Pass/Fail 5. Maintain my weight in Cancun. I will weigh myself Saturday morning. I will weigh myself the Sunday morning I come back. I want to stay the same. This will be done through Cardio at least 4-5 times in the week and weight training a minimum of 3 times. Grading: Pass/Fail Bonus quests Complete 6 Random Acts of Kindness. Side quest Continue to have Father-Daughter time every Monday. This will entail getting my school work done on Sundays to ensure I have enough time to spend the entire evening with her on Monday. Keep track of my food intake every day in MFP Let's go get 'em guys!!
  7. The random act of kindness.....Is it going to be a complete stranger? That's like one of the things I'm struggling with..I think it should be, you shouldn't know the person who you help... One of my ideas was to buy a gas card and leave it taped to the pump...then when someone would drive up to get gas...they would get some free gas.. I also have a problem with recognition for these RAK's....like I don't want to have to face the person I'm doing something for...seems weird but it's just me..lol
  8. Thanks for my awesome avatar!! w00t...Damn instagram..don't mess with a nerd!
  9. Are you going to keep this battle log with the next challenge Jit?? Just so I know to stay subbed or not?
  10. Do the goals get decided next Monday or are you going to close voting before then?? I voted for Running, Pushups, and Cycling..just because I think that would make for a great challenge!.. as your partner this round...my goal is to post on your thread at least once a day...
  11. I've heard you shouldn't really run on the beach if you're not used to it...but maybe..I would be an interesting way to wake up that's for sure!
  12. You're amazing..That productivity level is astounding! It is really hard not to have boozey beverages when you are out of town. Especially if you are visiting clients because you have to entertain them or they have to entertain you...and there is generally alcohol involved.. You should be super proud of yourself and what you accomplished this challenge! You kicked some major ass this challenge and had a new personal record for billing..don't forget that! New Challenge!!
  13. Your challenge results are awesome Bats...you should be very proud of yourself! The Paleo and Alfred thing along is enough to throw anyone off for a challenge! LOL...let alone what you were able to accomplish with winning the logo, flooding, car troubles...etc...You had a lot on your plate and came through rather successfully...
  14. I also have this next to my desk now! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  15. The Results Post: 1. GradingA. CompleteB. 5 WeeksC. 4 WeeksD. 3 WeeksF. < 2 WeeksFinal Grade: C- While I did some learning this challenge it was not as effective or thorough as I need/want it to be. I need to be more focused on this and make it nightly ritual that I read or something for 15-30 minutes before I go to sleep. 2. With beast super agility as my inspiration and with my weight loss I can now complete this goal. I want to be able to do 3 sets of 15 box jumps. I currently do weighted step ups and have done a set of 10 box jumps before. This will push me to achieve more.GradingA. CompleteB. 2 SetsC. 1 SetF. 0Final Grade: A+ -- I was able to complete 3 sets of 15 box jobs on both the lower step up and the higher box we have at the gym. I'm not perfect on the higher box..but I did them. I'm getting very fast with the jumps on the step up.. 3. I want to take 20lbs of the weight assisted pull up. This is going to require some super strength on my part. I have done pullups at the 150 mark so I will start there. By the end of the challenge I want to be able to do weight assisted dips and pull ups with 130lbs as the counter load.GradingA: CompleteC: 140lbsF: 150lbsFinal Grade: A -- I did 3 sets of 10 reps @130lbs on Friday evening....and had gotten very close a couple times before... 4. Run 3.2 Miles Outside. Last challenge I ran 2.75 miles outside. I need to get back on my running game. I have slacked off because I now hate running on the treadmill and my legs have been giving me some issues with feeling the ability to keep pushing. I will complete a 5K this challenge.Grading:Pass/FailHmm...I'm going to hold off on this one...First, it was too cold to run outside...and I never actually ran 3.2 miles at one time...However, I did run 4 out of a total of 5 miles multiple times this challenge....This could go either way...Technically it is a fail...but I'm pretty happy with being able to run 2 miles then walk .2 then run 1 twice. Bonus Quests:Complete 3 house repairs/improvements this challenge(Thanks Alex!) -- Done! Side QuestsContinue to have Father-Daughter time every Monday. This will entail getting my school work done on Sundays to ensure I have enough time to spend the entire evening with her on Monday. -- This is a 4/6 I believe...due to having to go out of town for a week and something else came up...still pretty happyKeep track of my food intake every day in MFP -- Done Additional Items: I hit 224 this challenge which means I have lost 90lbs total(I've flexed back up a little but that was expected..I hit it twice before accepting it, that's my gauge).. I also got my measurements taken...I lost quite a but and it's been a while since my last measurement...but I have lost 46" in my total body... Neck: 20 -> 17 Chest 60 -> 44.5 Stomach 58 -> 44.5 Hips: 56 -> 43 Arms: 17 -> 17.5 -- But the composition has changed..I'm seeing definition Legs: 26.5 -> 26 -- Same thing...my calves are amazing right now LoL... I also hit a new personal record for Squats(190) and Incline Leg Press(640)...both for 15 count Next Challenge is going to be rough...I leave for Cancun on the 15th of March for a whole week of debauchery...I think one my of goals is going to do cardio at least once every day I am there.... I think I'm going to continue on the beast theme..I like it...

I wish I had your ability to stay within your food limits...I cannot seem to do it..I'm always going over and for some reason it's always on the days I don't train... Great Job this challenge!! Do you have goals or ideas for the next one yet?
