  1. I've done a semester of Shao Lin Kung Fu and I really loved it! I just have to get to a better level of fitness before I think I can move forward with the program. Thanks for the hiking suggestions! : )
  2. Hello, Fable here. Feel like I’ve been aimlessly going to the gym for about a month now. And with little to no results and little money to afford a personal trainer. I hit the mean streets of the internet for answers. And landed here. Main Quest: To be in a long term-committed relationship with fitness and healthy eating. I keep yo-yoing between this mentality of “Yeah, I’m totes so healthy.†to “Meh, I suck and what’s one thing of ice cream gonna hurt?†and frankly, it’s doing nothing but holding me back and making me miserable. Inside, it’s like there’s this awesome beast, ready to take on life’s awesome exhilarating high adrenaline activities, like wake boarding, snow boarding, ziplining, climbing mountains and sky-diving and martial arts. But outside there’s this overweight, timid girl who’s become so afraid to do anything because she might be too fat. I’m done with that outside girl. I want to experience life the way I always planned on: high adrenaline and not afraid to take chances and risks. Goal 1: Drink 8 cups of water a day. Goal 2: Work out AT LEAST 3x Goal 3: Eat as close to a Paleo diet as my funds will allow. More Specifics of Goal 3: (these are mostly just for me) Do not go to fast food. Do not drink Soda Track my Food intake on MyFitnessPal (username: fablebutsmaller) Track my runs on Nike+ Life Side Quest: Keep my work space and living space clean and organized. Motivation: My motivation is to have the body type to do all the exhilarating, high energy, high adrenaline activities that I’ve always wanted to do.
