  1. I can do pounds fairly easily, mainly from being on forums with folks from the states! But yeah, failed to lift 112.5kg for the second time today, hopefully i get it monday! If not, it'll be my first de-load on squat! Already de-loaded on oh press, and barbell row as i felt my strength had surpassed my form (of that makes sense) and the lifts were a bit sloppy! And yeah, deadlifts just feel great atm! Think i'll update my figures at the end of the challenge, maybe two different colours so i can see the progress? Anyhow, good luck with your challenge too! Ill make sure to check you out later!
  2. Cheers! Smashed my strength goals i set for this challenge which is good! Stalled for a second time today on squats at 112.5kg after getting 110kg on a second attempt. Though i did manage to get 115kg deadlift. Re attempting 70kg bench press, and 65kg barbell row (1 deload on that) on friday! Bring it on!
  3. Boom! hitting pr's all over the place on stronglifts! Will (hopefully) be squatting 1.5 times bodyweight by this time next week! My 5rm on all my lifts is better than my previous 1 rep max! boom!

  4. With estimations, its always best to use the same equipment/tools. That way, any error is constant, like a "zero" error! So if it's off by a certain amount, it wont matter, as it'll be consistent!
  5. BOOOM! Hit the 107.5Kg squat today, used a box to ensure i hit below parrallel, decided to face away from the mirror using a power rack (instead of the squat rack) and the weight was controlled on the way down, and flew back up! No knees caving! Feeling good! Good luck to all my fellow rebels! Two weeks to go!
  6. Starting to stall on some more excercises now! (which is both bad and good!) Stalled on squats at 107.5 kg, for 5/5/5/3/3 (been having a tight chest recently, so think this may have been more psychological) Stalled on barbell for for 67.5 kg for 5/5/3/3/3 (form going sloppy) My current lifts are at: Squat = 107.5kg Deadlift = 105kg (going for 110 on friday) Bench = 67.5 OH press = 40kg Barbell row = 67.5 Blue = achieved at the gym last session, Red = missed lift, going for it again next time.
  7. Diet hasnt been too on form this week, due to birthday, and being back at home! Though im now over 100kg on both deadlifts and squats. Will be going for 105kg on both on monday! Going to deload my OH press to 40kg, my form is starting to suffer, and this seems to be the breaking point! On wards and upwards! Good luck to all my fellow rebels!
  8. Thanks! Its not s much oats that set me off, or necessarily gluten, just refined shite! Last time i did paleo i didn't eat any rice, so was really low carb! I'll try and get a macro nutrient and eating plan sorted ready for going back to uni on monday!
  9. Also, oats of the gluten free type? yay or nay? Ive heard mixed things about that topic. Also, if anyone else is currently "bulking" on paleo, could i be as cheeky to ask wha a typical day of eating affordably is like? Cheers!
  10. Hey guys! Long story short: ive not been eating paleo for a couple of months now and starting to feel lathargic again, which sucks! When i did paleo, i lost around 20 pounds, and got a bit leaner too. My question is, can i use Paleo if i intend to put on some decent muscle mass, can i do it affordably? I have a little local continental supermarket on my street that has a cool green grocer section, and butchers too, would it be cheaper to shop a few times per week to minimise waste? Also, would you guys recommend any supplements? Thanks in advance!
  11. Also quick opinion poll. Is it socially acceptable to go and lift on my birthday? (on Wednesday)
  12. Boom! 100kg squat and deadlifs this morning! Feeling good with progress! OH press is still lagging, but something has to i guess! Macro tracking is going well! Good luck to all my fellow warriors and rebels!
  13. Week two went well, not as much revision as i would like to have gotten done, but still a solid amount, seeing good strength gains too! Bring on the next 4 weeks!
  14. BOOM! Hit 95 kg squat and deadlifts today! And FINALLY got my 45kg oh press down! Feeling stronger as ever! BRING IT ON!
  15. Sounds good! the first step to anything is commiting!
  16. Sounds like you're doing amazing! and he sounds like a jerk tbh!
  17. Hey guys, cheers fot he help! My other lifts are: Squat: 92.5kg Deadlift : 95kg Bench press: 60kg, Barbell row: 60kg, Oh press 45kg. It's my 3rd attempt tomorrow at 45kg, if i dont get it, i'll unload to 45kg! Cheers!
  18. Think i'm going to do a "real" weigh in at the end of this week. I pretty much weigh myself every day just because the bathroom scales are there, but i think ill weigh myself, and take some progress pictures too, i have definitley noticed my legs have gotten ALOT bigger, but other areas might need comparison to see definite changes!
  19. Like the challenge! Look forward to seeing it develop! I have an idea of the body i want to build, but can't quite describe it!
  20. Hey guys! been doing stronglifts for 7 weeks now, and put on some decent mass (alot of which is probably down to creatine supplementation). My question is, would the 8 week mark make a good point for a "proper" weigh in? On my previous challenges ive worried about getting leaner, this is the only one focused on building mass. Also, My OH press is struggling a bit, i've hit 45 kg's, and can't complete 5*5 2 weeks on the row, but all my other lifts are making great progress! Is this normal? If so, do i need to do any extra work on triceps/shoulders? Thanks!
  21. Also, congrats on the challenge, sound slike you're nailing it!
  22. Awesome! Sometimes ive been struggling at dinner time when i have an "awkward" ratio of macro's left to fill! Havent been to strict this week due to being at home for my easter vacation, but tomorrow will up it a bit!
  23. Hey! Thanks for the encouragement! Ive broken my revision down into manageable goals for over my easter vacation, and for when i go back to uni! All should go well! Can't wait to get back into the gym tomorrow and pick some heavy things up! Happy Easter to all my fellow warriors!
  24. Woop, 3rd gym session this week, and hit 2 new pr's! And my form is getting ALOT better on the low bar, and no back pain today! Havent been too strict on my macro's this week, but feeling good still! Going to be more nazi about my macro's next week! Good week to all ny fellow warriors!
  25. Awesome! Going to be awesome come beach season lol! I'vw only been back in it 6 weeks (nearly 7), think im going to do a slow bulk and build a really solid amount of strength before getting lean. Will probably start my first "cut" that wasnt a general diet (for rock climbing) next spring. Look forward to following this challenge!
