  1. I agree. Looking at the scale as never really worked for me either as I tend to lose weight very slowly.

  5. Day 23 Report 1) Do something good for my body nope 2) Do something good for my mind Decluttering continues in the entryway and dining room. Also cleaned my kitchen, put away heaps of laundry 3) Do something to relax Had day off due to blizzard. Stayed in pyjamas all day. SO good. Points: 2 Total points so far: 42 Something to work on: Working on my sleep pattern was a success yesterday. Was in bed much earlier than I have been in a while and fell asleep faster. I will continue working on this throughout the week.

Day 22 Report 1) Do something good for my body couple hours of swing dancing 2) Do something good for my mind replied to an aggravating e-mail in a non-confrontational way while still not allowing myself to be a doormat (something I used to struggle with a lot). It takes a load off the mind when you take the bull by the horns and call people out on their bs without being argumentative 3) Do something to relax so much netflix... Points: 3 Total points so far: 40 Something to work on: My sleep pattern is all messed up! I bought some herbal tea. Gonna give that a whirl this week...
  7. Don't beat yourself up. Take it as a lesson and move on. Each day is a new beginning. Each HOUR is a new beginning... If you messed up, overate, whatever it is, you can always decide to do better with your next decision. It ain't over yet!

  11. Days 18, 19, 20 These days were spent with family due to my husband's grandfather's death. Challenge fell by the wayside. I will give myself 3 points as I did take care of my mental health each of these days, but really didn't have the time or inclination to exercise, eat right, or relax. Day 21 Report 1) Do something good for my body nope 2) Do something good for my mind yes - started clearing out our spare bedroom, which at this moment is a junk room. My head's clearer when my house is decluttered. 3) Do something to relax - supper with family Points: 2 Total points so far: 37

  13. Day 17 Report My husband's grandfather passed away yesterday. He will be missed of course, but it was for the best as he was put in a home last year due to rapidly progressing Alzheimer's disease. He was just shy of 90 years old, so he had a long, full life. However, my presence here might be somewhat sporadic as we spend time with family. 1) Do something good for my body 1.5 Hours of swing dance 2) Do something good for my mind not even remotely 3) Do something to relax nope Points: 1 Total points so far: 32
  14. Seems to me like you're off to a very good start. Kudos for not listening to that little voice saying "Don't work out in public. People will judge you!". We all have that little voice. It's hard to ignore, but I'm glad you were able to tell that little voice to beat it.
  15. Hope you had a good run! Try not to focus on the numbers. They can make you crazy! As long as you start to feel good, I think the numbers will fall into place

  17. Maybe week 1 wasn't as glorious as you imagined, but to me it looks like a really solid start! Changing habits is hard so to come out of week 1 as you did looks like a positive thing to me
  18. You CAN do it. You don't have to get everything perfect all at once. But taking note of and recording your sleeping pattern is one step in the right direction. Just keep trying and you'll get there eventually!

  20. Day 16 Report Stayed home sick, so unfortunately didn't get to do much and also ate pretty poorly. Oh well, feeling much better today so we're back on track. 1) Do something good for my body Nah 2) Do something good for my mind Despite not feeling tip-top, I did manage to tidy and organize our dining room. God I love de-cluttering. 3) Do something to relax Since I felt like crap, I watched Netflix pretty much all day until I went to bed. I'm totally counting this! Points: 2 Total points so far: 31 Something to work on: Since I was out for the count yesterday, going to try my hardest extra hard to get some exercise the rest of the week.
