  1. Good afternoon to all my fellow beginners! I made a stab at NF a year or so ago and allowed life to get in my way, so here I am again making another go at it with Challenge number one of 2018. I'm already facing a few personal challenges outside of the norm (work/kids/husband/etc). I have fibromyalgia, am dealing with an injured hand that is keeping me out of the weight room and in physical therapy, and have spent the latter half of 2017 and into this new year dealing with some sort of chronic hives issue - yippee So here I am again making another go at it, despite the adverse conditions, with Challenge Number One of 2018. Gogogogogo!!! Current Stats Level: 43 Ht: 5'11" Wt: 190lbs Quests for 2018: Lose 40lbs Quality time with DH Get out of debt Manage my stress/anxiety/depression Build my brand Four Week Challenge Round One: Begin C25K Training (Minimum of 3x/wk) Build a Workable Budget Meal Plan for Work Lunches and Dinner 5x/wk Double Cleanse Daily

  3. So for the last week, I was able to get in 3 runs and 2 Pilates classes, along with two nice walks and some yoga. Not quite what I was intending, but I'll take it! I did go over one day on with my eating, but that's way better than it could have been, so yay!! Today is my rest day, so I'm going to do exactly that!
  4. Thanks; I'm going to try and do exactly that! I got in a run yesterday, along with some nice post-workout yoga, and while my eating hasn't been that terrific I haven't gone over on anything. I did miss my Pilates class (and my run!) on Tuesday since I went straight to sleep after work, so I'll have to make sure to fit those in somewhere before the end of the week. I don't want to fall behind in the very first week of my very first challenge, that wouldn't set a very good precedent!
  5. How fun! I was looking at the website for the Flying Pig; I definitely want to do that one of these days. I'm aiming to run the whole time, although since it's Vegas I'm also contemplating bringing one of those yard long drinks with me, so we'll just have to wait and see how it goes!
  6. Main Quest: Over the next six weeks I intend to lose 5 pounds - enough to comfortably wear my skinny jeans. :-) In order to achieve this, I will: Run 4x/week,Attend Pilates 3x/week, andStay within my macros Side Quest: Eat only whole foods for 7 days straight. I am completing this challenge in preparation for the Rock 'n' Roll half marathon in Las Vegas, and to become a better version of myself. I know I'm a much nicer person when I feel healthy, so I should strive towards doing healthy things every day!
