  2. Hmmm....nice to myself? Not likely to be my struggle. Thanks for the encouragement, I am a bit disheartened that its so hard starting out, but we all have to start somewhere. I will definitely do an outdoors run for tomorrow! I'm not sure if I am scared of Zombies chasing me enough to be motivated by it, I would probably hide behind some smart guy! Now girls chasing me, I would probably run like I had wings!
  3. Day 2: Goal 1: I walked 2 miles Goal 2: 2 servings today Goal 3: Done!!! Life Goal: Not spending much time here yet...so nothing to report Day 3: Goal 1: Instead of changing things up, I decided to just repeat my modified Day 1. It went well. Goal 2: Zero grains today! Goal 3: 3 in a row! Life Goal: Not here again, life has been hectic. Day 4: Goal 1: Nothing today Goal 2: 4 grain servings Goal 3: Nope, I had a bagel Life Goal: I'm here now, I might as well see what I can get into!

  5. Agreed. I didn't do grading for this challenge either for the same reason. You have a great plan, but if it was easy, would you need it? No. You can do this, we all can. That's what we are here for. Good luck!
  6. wow. I just started today with my first C25K workout, and I had to decrease the timing from that. You are doing amazing!
  7. Thanks Jill! I will keep that in mind! Day 1: Goal 1: I had to modify the timing, but I did the required number of intervals! They obviously have a very different idea of who's on the couch! Goal 2: Zero grains so far today! I even passed up a chocolate bar Goal 3: Done!!! Life Goal: Not yet, but the day isnt over yet.
  8. Hi everyone, I am Kaleb, and new to fitness and dieting in general. I have been overweight most of my life want to change that and run my first 5K. I think Nerd Fitness is a great place to do that, you are my kind of people! Main Quest: Outrun Gary Goal 1: Start C25K Training Program for the treadmill and follow it 3 days per week. Goal 2: Start on the road to Paleo by eating fewer than 3 servings of grains per day. Goal 3: Eat an entirely grain free breakfast 4 days per week. Life Goal: Make at least 2 Rebel friends during this challenge, by posting and sharing my challenges and successes. I am not going to be grading my challenge at all. I don't need to prove success to anyone but myself.
