  4. It's never to late or to early to respawn and/or change your goals. Even just for the last week <4

Just say the word perkele, and we'll be here dancing you to success :)

You're absolutely right Terah!  Time for a PERKELE party!

  5. I opted out of this past week for PVP and I think I opted out of everything else too!  Lol.

I did get some significant Write/Edit done, but that's about it.  Food has been bad.  Exercise has been nonexistent.  Might have to scrap this challenge all together and start fresh next time.  :)

I'm feeling good about my progress in other areas of my life, but this just hasn't been a priority for me this month.  And I'm okay with that.  I know I have some fitness/weight loss goals to accomplish this year, but these aren't doing it for me.  I've still got a lingering cough from my cold, and it's been cold and wet here for the past week.

  6. Cold has blossomed into a nasty sinus infection.  Yay.  Ugh.

Getting back on track with my writing and editing this weekend which has been great.  I'm opting out of the pvp challenge this week, and after a doctor visit on Monday - I hope to be back to establishing basic routines again.

Tweaking my goals a little bit as it was too general for me.  I really need the daily feedback of tracking for now.  Perhaps someday in the future I might not need it so much.  Cold is starting to ease (I hope) and I've got a pretty relaxing weekend planned so I hope it will be on it's way out by Monday at the latest. Got Steve's book on my Kindle and have already started reading it.  Yay!

Still Battling this nasty cold.  I'm at least getting daily 10+ min walks in, although I only made 10,000 steps once this week.  Just trying to get through and not eat too much.  When I'm feeling poorly I want all the sweets!  Hope to be feeling better for next weeks round.

  11. Peelout - I'm working on weight loss and it's going to be a bit of a long haul.

Writing - right now I'm focused on writing and editing a novel, but I have a variety of other writing/editing coming up this year so that's why I kept it general. :)

Thanks for checking in on me!

Thought I'd sneak in for a peak.

Curious as to your 1 yr goal if you have one.  Like where do you want your challenges to take you (fat loss, cardio, a marathon, strength goal, improvement in a sport, etc).

Also, what kind of writing do you do (diary, fiction, articles, etc).

  12. My overall goal is weight loss (130 to go), but this challenge I want to work on strengthening my functional fitness.  I slacked off over the holidays, and will be renewing my commitment.  Tired and trite, but I'm not making resolutions.  I'm making small changes and habits.

    1. Exercise 10 minutes 5/7

    2. Practice 10 mins of French  5/7

    3. Eat 5 fruits & veggies a day  5/7

    Life: 100 words written/edited   5/7

Perkele party overhaul.  Time to start smaller :)

  13. I'm here!  Let the Perkele party begin!  :)

I'm tossing around the idea of trying out a new guild for the new year, but I'm not sure where exactly I fit.  I'm thinking of a year long walking/biking to Mordor quest as I've seen a certain doodlie do, and my primary quest at the moment is weight loss.  I'm kind of intellectually adventuring - starting a grad program, learning foreign language, working on editing a novel.   I probably should keep trying to include bodyweight exercises, but I'm pretty much failing at that lately.

Should I stay assassin?  go ranger or adventurer or scout?

  14. I've added a column on the Week 1 spreadsheet for the total score.  Just average the percentage.  For the total km walked, the distance from the winner of your Face-off = 100%.  if that wasn't you, then get the percentage of your km's as a percentage of your opponents distance.  Mine was easy to calculate since my kms walked was a bit fat goose egg.

    Here's to a great week -1!

Yes, no to the maths!  My head!  Ack.  BTW I think we tied.  Hehe.
