  1. What chart do we use for the word workout? And are there any rules about length of words etc? LOL. Because I think I totally cheated.
  2. Started off strong, but definitely struggling as the week goes on. I'm off for the next two weeks and all I want is treats! Ugh.
  3. I can't believe I didn't come and check on this thread. Sounds like you were all feeling like me this week! Group hugs!
  4. Doodlie Holiday Face - off Personal Goals: 5/7 Exercise 6/7 Calories Tracked Random goal: Miles walked/biked
  5. This week was pretty much a mess. Still not feeling tip top and seem to have lost my resistance to sweets. Going to have to go through my Living Lean work again. This Challenge overall was a mixed bag. I started off strong but have definitely slacked as we count down to the holidays. I did not succeed at getting a regular bodyweight routine, and I slacked off a bit on my cardio. Perhaps 5lb loss overall for the month.

  8. Still not feeling awesome but feeling like I need to pull it together for the last week of challenge. Last week, Cardio 3/5 until I got hit with this bug. No bodyweight workouts, and 5 out of 7 days of French. I missed 5 days of gratitude and I wasn't the best eater/recorder. When I'm sick I tend to eat all the sweets as if that will make me feel better. 12/7 - I am grateful for Christmas lights in the dark. I mean really shouldn't we all celebrate winter with lights so January wouldn't be so dark? At least the winter is short and light here in the South! I'm grateful for short winters. Cardio - Yes (1/5) Bodyweight - No (0/2) French - No (0/7)
  9. Out of commission for a few days with a nasty bug. Trying to keep up with the challenge parts I can do, and get some rest at the same time.
  10. 12/1 - I am grateful for a great roof over my head and a car to get around in. Cardio: Not officially, but in my 10,000 steps there were 20 mins of active so I'm going to count yes. (2/5) Bodyweight: No (0/2) French: No (2/7)
  11. Glad to see you are sticking on track! Even through the tricky holidays!
  12. Have you ever read any of Barbara Sher's work about Scanners? Check it out, particularly her newer book (she's kind of an old self help guide) called "Refuse to Choose". It really helped me understand how my mind worked, and how I could have so many interests and paths. Your thoughts on mind made me think of it
  13. 11/30 I am grateful for the end of family visits, and the peace and quiet of my own house. Sil gets on the plane home tomorrow. Cardio - yes (1/5) Bodyweight : No (0/2) French Yes (1/7) I Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  14. 11/29 - I am grateful for oceans and mountains. Cardio : No (4/5) Bodyweight: No (1/2) but I did do some pvp so I am counting it as a second bodyweight workout so (2/2) French - (7/7) Pretty good week for goals, but I'm showing a 3lb gain on the scale (I hope that's a glitch!) I did get most of my workouts, but definitely not my 10,000 steps and some of my diet choices were not the best. Will definitely get it together this week and will plan better for the Christmas holidays. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  15. Adding a quest to meet my calories goals every day for the next week for doodlie pvp. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  16. I heard about a guy who walked off the weight by circling his kitchen island while he worked from home. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  17. My challenge: I'm going to focus on making sure I count calories every day and that I stay in range. I was off last week and need to be more mindful. Anyone have tricks for getting 10,000 steps when at home? I get it no problem at my active job, but I definitely slacked when I was off last week and have two more weeks off for Christmas.

  22. I, Riverleaf, do pledge my life and honor to the Holiday Watch. Winter is coming! "Here are the 4 rules to follow (starting today): At least three workouts a week during the break, and one healthy meal per day. For Thanksgiving break specifically, try to fit in two activities that get you moving. I’m not expecting you to be perfect (lord knows the members of the Night’s Watch aren’t), but I do expect you to do some exercise over your break.Never miss two in a row. If you are scheduled to work out on a particular day and you miss it due to travel or whatever reason, you WILL exercise the next day. Every unhealthy meal WILL be followed by a healthy one. No excuses, play like a champion. The day after a major holiday is flawless. If you do opt to kick back and eat a little more than usual, the day after must be flawless execution in the eating department.Weather cannot be used as an excuse. It’s cold on top of the Wall, and it’s getting cold this time of year. But remember – you made this pledge. You can’t say, “it’s too cold†or “there’s snow on the ground†or “I’m hungover.â€"
