  1. Check in and tell us how you are doing! How's your first week?
  2. Looks like you are solidly on track! I struggle with a morning routine that doesn't start with sleeping as long as possible, fooling around on the internet and then being late for work. It's my bane of adulting.
  3. Sims inspires me here, because I remember to just do it. They crank out books so fast, but it's because they really just do it. Just like you refused to succumb to writer's block and cranked out more words. How can you put that same focus on fitness goals? Try to fit it in - a walk every hour, or 15 pushups on a bathroom break, or just refuse to succumb to fitness block and crank it out!
  4. Great list for the pvp challenge. Totally hear you on giving things up and that being a good thing. I've had to do much more delegating and saying "no" to new projects lately.
  5. Sounds like you are on track. Glad your back pain is doing better! Yoga is awesome. What kind of class did you do?
  6. Have fun at the conference! Hope all goes well!
  7. Sounds like you've been super busy. Congrats on sticking to your goals despite all the options and distraction! You can do this.
  8. What wonderful things to be grateful for! :love_heart: I like the to do list split into 3 parts. I keep thinking one of these challenges needs to be about getting routines organized. I get up and get lost in the internet, when I could be doing more awesome things like nano. And then I still end up getting to work late.
  9. 11/6 no exercise (3/5) no French (3/7) no bodyweight (1/2) Grateful fors ... listed under Doodlie PVP. Felt really gross all day and had a headache. It's Sat and still not feeling 100%. Not sure if it's the stress overload from MIL (who just got on the plane! Woot!) or the multi I tried yesterday or if I'm really just sick. Spending some down time this weekend taking care of myself. I have my daughter's kid party at a bounce house today, and a meeting tomorrow for my professional organization, but otherwise I plan to veg.
  10. Two hours mother in law free and I'm starting to feel like a real person again. Phew. Daughter's child bday today at the bounce house so a few running around things for that, but been playing Sims and vegging all morning - so I expect more of that when I come home. Only supposed to do 30 mins right? Lol. I love my introverting.
  11. 5. Practiced my French for 6 weeks last challenge. 10 things I'm grateful for: 1. My daughter 2. My husband 3. My health 4. My job 5. My mind 6. A roof over my head 7. food on the table 8. Our cats 9. NF 10. Doodlies! Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  12. Friday - Today, think of 5 things you've done exceptionally well this year - reasons to be proud of yourself. 1. Finished papers and observations to be officially accepted into my "grad program" training. 2. Built up my local professional organization and hosted a couple of workshops. 3. Started working on the weight loss again (-20 lbs) 4. Established an exercise routine. 5. Also, write down 10 things you have to be grateful for this year.
  13. MIL is leaving tomorrow! She's having an allergic reaction to my house! Yay!
  14. Tried a new multivitamin today and I'm feeling gross with a headache. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  15. 11/5 - 25 min exercise bike (3/5) 10 min French (3/7) I am grateful for clean water and a roof over my head.
  16. 11/4 - no workout (2/5) - no bodyweight (1/2) - no French (2/7) - I am grateful for the previous two days, and I am grateful for fresh food to eat and a happy kid.
  17. Okay - four pages, phew. You all are prolific. My wee nanowrimo novellette is still at 500 words, but I'm sure the mother in law saga will work it's way in there sooner or later. Today's my daughter's 6th birthday, and somehow I scheduled a 7am dental cleaning for myself. (And of course the evil one is still here until Tues) Somehow I'm a glutton for punishment. Thursdays PVP: Why are you doing this? What do you hope to achieve? 1. Work a full day, and come home with abundant energy to play with my daughter. 2. Wear size eight jeans again once before I die. 3. Be a ninja. I've always wanted to learn to fight, but never been in shape enough to gather my 20seconds of courage and even walk into a class.
  18. Happy hump day! How's it going? Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  19. Happy hump day. You can do this! Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  20. I answered Tues PVP in my personal thread. So confused about where things go! Weds PVP: 3 Things I bring to the Doodles: 1. Beginner's spunk 2. Honesty 3. Stubbornness * Can I still go back and do Johari windows to count toward Monday's PVP?
  21. Merci, sozzielou! I can't believe the sets involved in this workout. Level one is 3 sets of 20 lunges. Level 3 is 7 sets of 20 lunges. Do people really do that much?
  22. 11/3 - 20 min exercise bike (2/5) - I am grateful for yesterdays two things, and I am grateful for my health and I am grateful for my family's health. - 10 min French (2/7) - Yes! bodyweight workouts (1 run + 1st line repeat of Night's Watch Workout) (1/2)
  23. MIL lied. She's not going home until Tuesday. So that's 12 days of hell.
  24. 3 days to detox. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
