  1. These next few weeks, my goal is just to try and work on keeping as healthy a diet as possible. Currently, my house is going through a kitchen remodel and we are being provided food by members in my community. So, there isn't much control over what is given to us. I will track my portions and focus on only eating when I am hungry and stopping when I am full. I've slipped into snacking more often, so I am going to focus this time on limiting the times I eat to when I am actually hungry and not because I am bored or anxious. Also, in a few weeks I am moving across the country, so at that poi
  2. Thanks for the suggestion! I've thought about what I want my sweets goal to be so, UPDATE! Track and limit sweets to 3 times per week to begin with and then after three weeks, lower to 1 time per week. When I'm craving sugar I will have whole fruit instead. Liquid calories are limited to 2/week. Update with the other goals: Feeling stronger in my back and arms already. Already planning my next paleo house meal. Side quest is going strong. Finished The Moving Finger by Agatha Christie and am burning through Jurassic Park at an alarming rate.
  3. Excited for this next 6 week challenge. Feeling motivated!

  4. For this next six week challenge I want to focus on building up my back and arm strength to achieve my very first pull up! Also, since community living creates unique challenges when it comes to food, when I cook, I will focus on making 80/20 Paleo meals. 4 months till I get to see my niece again! Goals! Keep lowering intake of sugar (except for during my upcoming birthday) and focus on whole fresh fruits. Make all the house meals I'm responsible for Paleo! Build up arm, core, and back strength through Bodyweight Brigade. Side Quest: I'm making my way through the books I want to
  5. Anyone who knows me, knows how important my nieces and nephew are to me. When my niece, Sophia, was diagnosed with Leukemia in the fall, her life, and my life, changed. Seeing her face terrifying obstacles with more bravery than a 5 year-old should possess, is why I am doing this. She is my inspiration. I want to be Sophia Strong. Here are my goals for this 6 week challenge. Reduce sugar intake over the next 6 weeks. Initially cut out desserts, then move on to limiting fruit intake. Practice Yoga/Meditation every day. With the goal of gaining flexibility and strength, as well as more r
  6. First time participating in a challenge and I’m ready to get started! Like many people, my main goal is to lose weight, more specifically fit into a size 12 by the end of this or the next 6 week challenge. But more important than my goal, is why I am doing this. I am changing my life for my niece. Anyone who knows me, knows how important my nieces and nephew are to me. When my niece, Sophia, was diagnosed with Leukemia in the fall, her life, and my life, changed. Seeing her face terrifying obstacles with more bravery than a 5 year-old should possess, is why I am doing this for her. She is
