  1. I'm now on day three, and still going strong, although I was really tempted to buy some gluten free bread today - that is not Whole30 approved!!! Feeling pretty tired though
  2. So what exactly happens on this thread? Do we have to do anything as a group for the challenge, or is it just a place to chat with each other? (which is cool too)
  3. Good luck on your challenge! I think you're right that that friend of yours was on to something. Maybe what we need to do is accept that struggling with food is not our fault, and that we shouldn't beat ourselves up about it so much. I'm still not there yet either. I've been exploring this website though, http://paleopepper.com/ It's really great, and often motivates me to pick myself up and move on.
  4. Great goals!! I guess I'm a bit late commenting on the very beginning of this thread, but oh well. I'm doing a whole30 too, starting tomorrow. And I love photography... especially food photography, so if you'd like any tips let me know
  5. Thanks for the support! Unfortunately, sometimes food isn't even delicious and I'll still binge on it... I actually find that healthier food is often even yummier... got to remember that :-)
  6. Hey, hope your challenge is going well! Wow I've always wanted to try sword-fighting, I hope you find something just as amazing to do instead! I've just started taking Krav Maga classes once a week at Uni, and I'm really enjoying it.

  8. Hi! I've been floating around NF for a while, but I haven't really taken part in a challenge before. Looking forward to it! Main Quest: - stop binging habit and lose 5 pounds over the next 6 weeks Plan of Action: - complete the Whole30 (second time through, after going completely off track) - not enter the kitchen unless there's someone else there - go for 30 minute walk every day to get me up in the morning before class Side Quest: - get rid of my acne (hopefully this will be a nice side effect of the Whole30, but I also need to stop touching my face :-)

  10. I'd like to join this group! I'm starting my second Whole30 tomorrow, have been WAY off track for at least two months now, not looking good. I'd love some motivation please as I tend to lose interest after a few good days...
  11. Hey! I don't know if I'm really much of leader either, but I'd love an email buddy! I'm also trying to lose about 10 pounds, and I've had some experience with paleo before. I did a whole30 this summer, but after that my eating went completely out of control and I'm still trying to get back on track

  13. Hey! I'm new to NF, and hoping to find someone to help me along the way and keep in touch via email regularly. I want to send you motivating emails too! I'm mainly trying to get fitter and stronger, and keep eating paleo!! (Because when I do I feel great, but when I don't food takes over my life and it's not pretty) I'm currently embarking on my second whole30. I love to travel, try new things and learn new skills, and I'd love to share my adventures and hear about yours too. I also love Legend of Zelda and Lord of the Rings! Please get in touch!
  14. Theres this really great article online somewhere by Primal Toad, listing 10 foods that could feed you for 30 days for about 200 dollars or something. I think it included sweet potatoes, salmon, ground grass-fed beef, coconut milk, bananas, almonds, avocados, liver, and something else. You could almost make a sweet potato thai curry with beef and coconut milk!
