I concur congrats on the new job I know there are a lot of places to crush it there and if your on contract they will let u use the gym all the gyms at Bragg have bumper plates now and lifting platforms. I agree with Romad u are a lifting machine or some would say goddess. I also say bravo for eating an entire chicken with your hands.
  3. Thank you that was the first time since April I broke 300 on back squat but I bet I could get 330 maybe even 350...who knows. OK today did 5 rnds 5 pull ups 10 60 pnd kbell swings 15 sit ups 5 minutes flat Shuttle runs broken up with sprints is 50 meter farmers carry 50 meter sprint 1000 meters 100 45 pnd plate presses while on back Shuttle runs from parking spot lines to the next the back to the first 12 lines total....yay Down at moody to be cadre for our tacp officer course these poor officers are in for some fun

  7. Totally agree with that i try and do a 40 to 50 pound pack walk once a week. I then make sure i carry weighted packs even on simple day hikes.
  8. Ok today did the following. 10x2 Back squat 255, 265, 275, 285, 295, 305, 315, 315, 315, 315 5 rounds for time 20 GHD situps 15 Pullups 1K row for time.

  10. For what your working towards a good rest day workout could be a short warmup run no more then a mile. Then do 10 x 100 sprints that will leave u nice and sweaty and get you moving. Plus side benefit it won't burn off any of your muscle gains. The fun fact about the popcorn was interesting learn something new everday
  11. If you don't have a waist strap jury rig one fast. It will take 30 percent of the suck out of the challenge is ruck hitting u in the back of the head during bear crawls. Yeah look any type of grinder style cal workout and try and work up to doing it with your ruck on

Ok today was a weird day knocked out the strength portion with Close Grip Bench Press 3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3 did all of them at 215 pnds anything more would have required a spot...gym was dead failed at Metcon just wasn't there after starting it Came back in the after noon 1.4 mile run 50 burpees. Not a great day but will get on it tommorrow.

  15. Good job 3 is better then none, its the baby steps that matter remember what everyone says on here no matter what keep grinding forward you can do this and you will get to were you are going.

Ok post turkey day workout 5K run....don't know the time 22-23 minutes was what i was guess at...painful upside no shin splints alot of foam roller work before and after run then 10 burpees 20 50 Pnd kbell swings 20 35 pnd kettlebell front squats 20 Burpees 15 50 Pnd kbell swings 15 35 pnd kettlebell front squats 30 Burpees 10 50 Pnd kbell swings 10 35 pnd kettlebell front squats
  17. Awesome ok i will be driving up as long as the USAF doesn't decide to deploy me someplace crazy during that time.
  18. Buck up old buddy this isn't a set back tis the few days of missed workouts and horrible eating practices. You will come back and crush your workouts. And good job on Power clean and i agree incorporate those moves into your workout don't do them on PR days because they will take away from them. I am weird when i say this but relationship stress always drove me to the gym ie better to kill the weights then the other person. OK you got this and you will rock out this coming weeks of training.
