  1. Week two ended with me hitting 3/3 in all categories. Last push up routine was 5 sets of 10-12-7-7-15. Going to continue this week as normal and attempt the full test on my own this weekend to see exactly where I need to put more of an effort.
  2. I've kind of been working on it, anytime I stand up I try to jump high enough to put my hand flat on the ceiling, but haven't actually measured my current jump height. I've done the test before about a year ago, barely made the jump on my third attempt but could only manage ten pushups. Which is why the bulk of my concentration is on what held me back before. 3. Well the push up program I'm on, today had me doing five sets 11,13,9,9,max(17). And as far as my jogging im not really keeping track of speed and distance, just setting a timer for 30 minutes and wherever I end at I walk back home. Though today I ran a mile in 12 minutes and 30 seconds which is great since on September 12 I'll have to do a mile and a half in 16 minutes. Only part of the test in kind of concerned I won't be fully ready for is the 15.5" vertical jump Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. End of week one saw; HIIT 2/3 Pushups 3/3 Jog 2/3 Evil sofa monsters 2/3 All in all looks like an A to me!
  5. And bam Combat Feat accomplished!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Alright so far week 1 breaks down to; HIIT- 1/3 Push up- 2/3 Jog- 0/3 Evil soda monster- 1/3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Day 1 went okay, stayed away from sodas and got my jog in. slept in too long and missed the HIIT class though. So far day 2 has been met with day one of the hundred push ups program and I'm feeling the pull to the dark side going through soda withdrawals lol.
  8. Thanks yall. Last challenge I did got off track due to a fractured rib, but most of the time it's been my own laziness. I'm feeling great about this challenge because I have a lot riding on it, my current job is quickly sucking away at my life making me extremely irritable which I don't like at all and my only way out is to become a cop. if I pass the fitness test everything else is will be gravy. Initial test for the push up program puts me at fitness level two with a total of 8 push ups.

  10. Hello everyone, I'm Elros the half-elf and I have a problem. Namely I have a hard time finishing challenges, took about 4 attempts at getting out of the recruit section, then I joined the monks and disappeared halfway through a challenge. But I've never been more determined for anything than I am now about passing this challenge. At the end of this six weeks my local police department is holding a civil service entrance exam, which I've tried and failed once before. To pass I need a vertical jump of 15.5" do 25 push-ups in one minute (current max is 10) and run a mile in 16 minutes. OVERALL GOAL- be able to pass the fitness exam! Quest 1- attend a HIIT class at my gym 3 days a week (STR/STA) Quest 2- 30 minute jog 3 days a week (DEX) Quest 3- 100 push-up program (http://www.hundredpushups.com). (STR) LIFE QUEST- limit myself to 3 sodas a week (CON)
