      Probably the backspace after you accidentally click on the outside of the text box. Happened to me so many times, I have this habit of copying every few paragraphs.But it actually saves it as a draft every few minutes here, so you can recover it.

  20. any tips on how to adapt to running 1.5miles (6x400m track) in combat boots anyone?

      The 15-minute rule. Cravings usually go away after 15 minutes. If after that you still feel like you must have it, blunt it with something good first, like a snack of vegetables and fruits, or a protein shake. After that, have at it. (It's more like damage control.)
