  1. Some very good ideas on here. I'm still in the same situation but with no access to an oven during weekdays. Ive on and off been eating better, but finding out that I have high cholesterol along with my older brother having a heart attack has convinced me to change my eating habits permanently. I'm going to try to eat mostly fruits and vegetables with small portions of meat. Id like to have more fish but I'm not sure on the best way to bring fish for work. Cook ahead for 4 days or find a way to cook it at the motel. Often I'm not close to a good grocery store so I have to take everything with me Sunday evenings to last through Thursday lunch at least. Ive invested in a nice big cooler because some motels do not have fridges but most have ice. I'm really interestd in a rice cooker. Ive heard you can cook meats in it as well. Anyone made fish in one? I'm totally new to them so I'm researching now and deciding if ill buy one and what kind.
  2. Hey there. I'm a 32 year old male. I'm 5'9" and about 190 lbs. While I'm not big, I feel horribly out of shape. One of my problems is that I travel a lot and spend a lot of nights in motels. Some of the areas don't have a gym. I'm looking for a workout routine that can do at the motel in the fitness room or even outside. I've checked out programs like insanity but honestly I would need to work up to something like that. Can someone give me some advice on getting started? And also I need to work on a meal plan for eating out of the motel and a lunchbox. But maybe I should ask about that in a different forum. Thanks. -Derek Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I'm a 31 year old male that's gotten out of shape over the past few years. I recently started working a railroad job and now almost every week I am out of town and spending my nights in a motel. I've never been one to eat very healthy but I would like to start. During the day I sometimes have access to an oven but not very often. Packing my lunch is the only option most days. At our motel, all I have is a fridge/freezer and microwave. I know I'm very limited as far as options but I'm hoping you all can give me some ideas on how to eat healthy in my situation. Thanks.
  4. Hello I'm Derek. I work for the railroad and most of my nights are spent in a hotel. I'd like to find a good no equipment workout I can do in my room or the workout room if there is one. I'm looking to tone up more than gain strength at this point. I've not worked out for almost a year now but badly want to get back into it. I know of programs like insanity and p90x but wanted to get some recommendations from real people. Thanks a lot. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
