  1. As a girl with eventual assassin aspirations, your title worried me. But I suppose I'm alright as long as I don't turn into an evil assassin. What do you mean by intermittent fasting?
  2. Depending on how they make the dessert, it might actually be healthier. (Like, if they used real fruit instead of canned pie filling.)
  3. Have you been kayaking at all? You should do some kayaking. I'm so jealous. Our lake is frozen. No kayaking for me for a while.
  4. I think your choice of life quest is amazing. I wouldn't even know where to begin! Also your nicknames for your family are really fun.
  5. OMG 10 miles! I feel exhausted just thinking about it! Awesome job. That barre class instructor DOES sound evil, but she also sounds like a PE teacher I had once. She did the same thing. Strange thing was, I was probably in the best shape of my life while I was taking that class... so maybe evil but secretly good.
  6. Day Nine Report: Work Out Goal: - (1/3) I have to get up early tomorrow to work out. I'm not really looking forward to it. It'll be cold and dark... but I'll do it anyway. Eat Less Goal: + I thought I went over, because I ate pizza for dinner. But apparently I can get away with pizza if I'm really, really good the rest of the day. Eat Fruits and Vegetables Goal: + Okay, so for dinner, I threw two slices of cucumber and three baby carrots on my plate, just to complete this goal. But I did it, so yay. I'm back at college and back to having pretty sucky produce. No more pomegranates, kiwi or raspberries, sad to say.

  8. I love the way you describe things! It makes sense to me that you don't have a ogre-to-amazon button. Magic buttons are for the pinker princesses. All amazons work hard to be amazons. As for the clothing thing, sewing isn't too hard to learn but it takes a long time to actually complete any project. Plus your first several garments probably won't look very pretty. Or they might fall apart in the wash. (I had a shirt that did that.) It's a good skill to learn if you have a rip in your sleeve or something. But for buying clothing, I bet you could find something your size online.
  9. Day Six Report: Friday Work Out Goal: - (2/3) Unless running around with nieces and nephews counts. And it doesn't, in this case. They were pretty excited about video games. Eat Less Goal: - Defeated by pie. (I made it, and I experimented with the recipe. So I had to at least try it.) Eat Fruits and Veggies Goal: + Green beans no casserole! Day Seven Report: Saturday Work Out Goal: + (3/3) Same as Thursday Eat Less Goal: - There was a party. I was unprepared for it. Eat Fruits and Veggies Goal: - No fruit or veggies at the party. Except the canned tomatoes in the chili, but I'm not counting those. End of Week Summary: 3/3 Work Outs 5/7 Low Calorie Days 6/7 High Fruit and Vegetable Days Weight: 222.4 lbs Loss: 2.8 lbs (Week Two) Day Eight Report: Sunday Work Out Goal: + (1/3) Swam for 30 minutes. It was pretty leisurely. I'll still be trying to do three hard workouts this week. I like swimming. It's fun, and it's something I've never sucked at. Eat Less Goal: + Helped by the fact that I slept through breakfast, and so ate only two meals. Eat Fruits and Vegetables: + More pomegranates! (And broccoli)
  10. Day Five Report: Work Out Goal: + (2/3) I found a running Yoda. (It's my mom.) And with her help I did the Day 1 work out correctly. The whole thing! Whoo hoo! And, since I had absolutely nothing to do today except bake pies, I went through the Beginner Bodyweight Workout twice!! Whoo hoo! Eat Less Goal: + Even though I ate a pumpkin bar. I still ate less. (We're having our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, so it wasn't a big challenge.) Eat Fruits and Vegetables: + This is really easy at the moment. The house is full of fruit, and I finally scored one of those pomegranates!!

  12. Congrats on getting something done despite the gym being closed. It's way too easy to shrug and say "Welp, tomorrow." Also good job on the cobaltocene!
  13. Day Four Report: Work Out Goal: - (1/3) Nope. Did not work out today. Eat Less Goal: + I made some bad choices today (a glass of wine, a pumpkin bar, a second helping of chicken pot pie) but I made MORE good choices. (Lots of fruit and vegetables, lean meats, very few carbs.) Eat Fruits and Veggies Goal: + It's just so easy when the house is filled with so many fruits and vegetables.
