  3. I put on 6lbs over xmas ... resumed normal eating and a week later it hasnt come off but my clothes are no tighter ... so its not fat, and its not water ? ... what on earth is it

  4. Nothing more motivating then getting hard proof your fitness plan is working. I just got an awesome report from my endocrinologist. I feeling awesome!

      Eleanorsbee - KFC's grilled chicken is good and you would feel a lot less quilty.

      I can still recover today I think. I just might not be able to have my bedtime snack. Oh Well

  8. 9 weeks, 18lbs down. Long way to go, but I'll get there!

  9. Missed my run Friday, rescheduled for Saturday, got too busy, so rescheduled again for Sunday (today)...but so tired I could fall alsleep where I stand. Maybe I will go for a walk instead...but oh the guilt.

  11. Fighting an internal battle about food. I know what I should do, but I keep doing the wrong thing. I wish I like veggies and wish fruits didn't do bad things to my blood sugar. Feeling frustrated.

      Living healthy and trying to stick to diet plan in which almost everything is "No" and "I can't have that" is bound to backfire and does every few days. :(

      Also I try to Google diet plans for type 1 diabetics sucks...you get all results for type 2's which is not the same thing.

  12. Fighting an internal battle about food. I know what I should do, but I keep doing the wrong thing. I wish I like veggies and wish fruits didn't do bad things to my blood sugar. Feeling frustrated.

      I am trying to eat a low-ish carb diet, (about 120g carbs per day, about 35% of my calorie intake). So pasta and pasta sauces has been out of my "plan" for a while now. Also I wish I could drink a smoothie. I do drink one from time to time and love them, but regret it later when I check my blood sugar and it is sky high (even with insulin). I would love a boiled egg and a smoothie for breakfast, but nothing doing for me. Lately I feel like all I can eat is lean meat and super high fib...

  13. Time to get tough and say no a lot more to unhealthy food choices. I have been tracking and finding I am eating way more of all the wrong things than I imagined. If I want to prove to myself I can do it and meat the birthday wish goal I made it is time to get tough!

  14. After I go through my stocks at home and get to the grocery store I am ready for this next challenge. I am ready for 6wks of success! Actually I wish I was ready to start now...cuz I would.

  15. Husband and I sat down for a quick bite after a long D&D game at McDonalds and realized how bad fast food tastes. We use to live on it. Since NF I have mostly gotten away from it. Doing a lot more cooking at home. It is incredible how much I use to love it. Now I eat it with those old memories in mind and then realize...YUK! Thank you NF!

  17. 1 day birthday/junk food day turned into 3 days of yuck. Food hangover. bleh.

      Try to remember this feeling and it will help prevent future food hangovers. Food days are good though I think we all need them. Controlling them is the hard part, which I am still working on. :)

  18. So anxious to start my second challenge. Graded myself a C on #1. I know I will improve with each one. Learning more and more about myself and what I am capable of.

  19. Quitting gym. Only ever to BBWW there anyway and I can do that at home for way less than £16 a month. Saving that money for smaller clothes from now on!

  20. Any suggestions for uses of vanilla whey protein? I am adding it to my vanilla greek yogurt and it is fantastic, but would like some other ideas.

      The ice cream idea sounds great. Smoothie would work too. Not sure if a smoothie would be as satisfying. Still might try it.

  21. Been trying to push lunch back to 12-12:30 from 11-11:30. Today my blood sugar crashed. When recovering from a low I feel like I can eat a whole buffet of food.. Fought through it and ate on plan. But boy was it tough.

      Thanks for the advice. If I keep feeling this way I may have to call my endocrinologist to reduce my insulin. Which would show a real improvement in my diet. :)
