  1. I agree with RandMart, you're missing the most important type of 'punk' on here.
  2. Peanut butter, milk, and fish. Been reading through the forums and those come up a lot.
  3. My cat wakes up at the butt crack of dawn and decides it's time to play. That gets me out of bed.
  4. It started around the time I quit smoking; having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Any ideas to fix the issue?
  5. Atreyu and A7x are great for workout music.
  6. Not too bad with the not smoking, my cat managed to find a pack that got missed when I threw everything away. I tossed it out. Couch 2 5k is going well and so is the beginner's body weights. It's the cutting out ramen that's killing me. Yup, got the idea from Lost. Trolls in the Dungeon - Kicking a pet out of the room for your workout only to find yourself getting attacked halfway through.
  7. Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman's Chronicle's Trilogy and Glen Cook's Black Company books (ALL of them)
  8. A physics professor and his assistant are working on liberating negatively charged hydroxyl ions, when all of a sudden, the assistant says, "Wait, Professor! What if the salicylic acids do not accept the hydroxyl ions?" And the professor responds, "That's no hydroxyl ion! That's my wife! Yes, from Dexter's Laboratory.
  9. I honestly think I might get a better workout for my lungs keeping my cat out of the X-Mas tree than I do from my couch 2 5k.
  10. I've always seen them as loyal, compassionate, brave, and trustworthy. (kender never, ever lie)
  11. I was a little sad no one rolled a kender. They're absolutely hilarious. No actual problems that I can see. (I'm curious as to how this will turn out)
  12. While doing my couch 2 5k this morning I went down a street in my neighborhood that I didn't even know existed and I found this big ol' tree with all these nice branches. I used that.
  13. As far as protein goes I've always eaten a lot of eggs, peanut butter, or had milk throughout the day. And at dinner I usually eat whatever is left (no leftovers the next day). For example I had 2 pork chops with dinner and when it looked like everyone had eaten their fill I took the last three and munched on them over the course of an hour before bed. Like I said, the ramen is more of a snack than anything. I found out the steam packs of veggies also have steam packs of brown rice, so I'm going to get those when we go to the store.
  14. My cat has started this thing whenever I try and do squats, she comes out of nowhere and either bites my rump or decides to stick claws in my cheeks. Although, she stays out of the way for jumping jacks and legs swings, now.
  15. I was thinking about that, but need to land a job before I go buy anything.
  16. Rice! Another good suggestion to keep in mind.
  17. I've decided to start with a beginner's body weight training program to get my body used to moving around and I want to incorporate pull-ups (start sooner rather than later) into the routine. However there's nowhere around my home to do them, the kitchen table is rickety, and neither playground in my neighborhood has monkey bars or swing sets. (blasphemy) I'd like to know if anyone has a reasonable idea (I'm not hanging off the edge of a bridge) to overcome this predicament.
  18. Thanks for the ideas, I eat so much of it because of the fact that it's so cheap. I think I'll start adding veggies to it for a couple of weeks before I cut out the seasoning, though.
  19. I eat the cheap Winn-Dixie brand and eat anywhere between 5-6 bowls of it a day. (I generally use it as a snack) I eat the entire 2 servings in each pack, not just the one serving. I was wondering how bad it is for me and if it would be balanced out if I started adding vegetables to each bowl.
  20. I tried going jogging this morning and I guess it went as well as could be expected. I warmed up and started out of the house and after about 5 minutes found it very difficult to breathe. After around 10 minutes I was bent over double hacking up tar. (quite painful) I guess it can be seen as progress and I'll just have to try and last a little longer everyday.
