  1. Not too bad with the not smoking, my cat managed to find a pack that got missed when I threw everything away. I tossed it out. Couch 2 5k is going well and so is the beginner's body weights. It's the cutting out ramen that's killing me.

Yup, got the idea from Lost.

  2. A physics professor and his assistant are working on liberating negatively charged hydroxyl ions, when all of a sudden, the assistant says, "Wait, Professor! What if the salicylic acids do not accept the hydroxyl ions?" And the professor responds, "That's no hydroxyl ion! That's my wife!

    Yes, from Dexter's Laboratory.

  3. As far as protein goes I've always eaten a lot of eggs, peanut butter, or had milk throughout the day. And at dinner I usually eat whatever is left (no leftovers the next day). For example I had 2 pork chops with dinner and when it looked like everyone had eaten their fill I took the last three and munched on them over the course of an hour before bed. Like I said, the ramen is more of a snack than anything. I found out the steam packs of veggies also have steam packs of brown rice, so I'm going to get those when we go to the store.

  4. I've decided to start with a beginner's body weight training program to get my body used to moving around and I want to incorporate pull-ups (start sooner rather than later) into the routine. However there's nowhere around my home to do them, the kitchen table is rickety, and neither playground in my neighborhood has monkey bars or swing sets. (blasphemy)

I'd like to know if anyone has a reasonable idea (I'm not hanging off the edge of a bridge) to overcome this predicament.

  5. I eat the cheap Winn-Dixie brand and eat anywhere between 5-6 bowls of it a day. (I generally use it as a snack) I eat the entire 2 servings in each pack, not just the one serving. I was wondering how bad it is for me and if it would be balanced out if I started adding vegetables to each bowl.
