  1. I can't begin to imagine why anybody would ever say that. It's like society is so based around one-upping people that if you can't one-up somebody yourself, use somebody else's skills to one-up them just so they can't feel as good about themselves.
  2. I always have to wonder a little when people say they don't like the taste of water. Now, I'm not trying to pass any judgement if you actually can't stand drinking water in any form, but water really shouldn't taste like anything. Are you talking about tap water or filtered water? Tap water (or water from a water fountain) is definitely going to taste kind of funky. Bottled water (I like Nestle Purelife) will taste much better, as will simply getting a filter for your tap. If you are talking about hating filtered water, have you tried it cold? I drink most of my water at room temperature, but I actually like it much better cold. I have no idea what it is, but the difference is there (at least for me). If you just absolutely don't like warm or cold filtered water, I second putting some fruit in there. I love a little lemon in my water, but other fruit can be good too. And while maybe not strictly paleo because of the caffeine (depends on who you ask maybe), green tea is still a healthy drink that I love. I make it half a gallon at a time and drink it with meals. Luzianne makes family-sized green tea bags, which is what I use. They also make a decaf version. I've had problems finding it at Wal*Mart, but grocery stores are more likely to have it. Amazon also sells it, but that might only be by the case. And just like with water, you can add some fruit to it for a little more flavor if you want.
