All righty boys & girls, let's get this party started. This is actually my second challenge; my first was back in Oct - Nov '11. In the intervening months, my life has spun towards the decidedly unawesome. This challenge, I will make a couple expert pilot checks and pull out of the existential tailspin my life is currently in. You can take on as much or as little as you'd like. The 3/1 suggestion seems to be the sweet spot between not challenging and overwhelming. If you're feeling ambitious, though, by all means do. We're not going to hold you back. Just make sure you're setting good goals.

Also look into making a set of rings. I've got a set of TRX rings that were a gift, but if you're of even average craftiness, they shouldn't be hard; I love mine. A Google search for diy gymnastic rings turns up quite a bit of ideas just on the first page.

So I'm in the market for a pedometer, and I have no idea where to start. I've done some searching here to see what people use, and I've come across the FitBit and the Nike+ system, but that's about it. So how about it, Nerds? What do you use? What would you recommend? What would you recommend to avoid?
