  1. Hi guys, Been quite a while since I was on the forum last but I've found my way back. Ive mostly* kept up my working out and eating and what not but have had some recent developments witch is affecting my abilities in a pretty huge way. Started out with back pain and then extremely clunky hips, a few MRI's, Xray's and CT scans later my back is fine but I have anterior Labrum tears in both hips and in all likelyhood need surgery. 6 weeks til I see the Orthopedic surgeon and find out for sure. BUT. I want to build muscles, and stay fit.I'm allowed to bike ride, and swim to a certain extent. But no running, No squats, no impact on the hips, or anything that could put enough presure on them to dislocate. So what can i do to work my lower body? Im basicaly terrified of putting weight back on and loosing what i have gained. Any one with experince in this kind of thing I would Love you opinion or ideas. Thanks! V

  3. hey guys, sorry i missed it. Have been struck down with a bad arse sinus infection and then monday night my body decided it was allergic to penicillin and I narrowly avoided the icu. Hope you guys had fun!
  4. I might be sitting the next challenge out. I have so many assessments due in the next few weeks it's going to be intense. But I'll definitely be joining the ranks soon
  5. So I have FINALLY found a store that sells grass fed meat, only beef though. They have, rump, eye filet, porter house, stirfry cuts and mince. Ive bought some of the mince to try out but have No idea what to cook. Usually i would go with pasta BUT its not on the diet. Ideas? Ps Im an extremey novice cook
  6. Thanks guys! Now that I'm allowd to do weights again there size will increase mwhahaha i'll have the biggest guns ever soon! and I have to do single leg squats and leg presses at the gym with my foot angled outwards, I have very weak inner thigh muscles and my knees are shot! Stll a long way to go before im happy with it all but im getting there!!
  7. Ok so as of 5 minutes ago I'll be working somewhere else on Tuesdaysbut can pprobably still make it in by 6-630.

I could come in after work but I wouldn't get there till probably 730-8, as I'll be out Penrith way and theirs no guarantee my boss will let me go before 630, and I'm taking that Sunday off to recover from my birthday and go to a reptile expo, so asking to actually leave on time the next day as well might be pushing it.
  9. Came to your challenge right at the end! Looks like we struggled a bit with the same things. sugar! Grrr Pesky addictive amazing sugar. Congrads on the weight drop and getting back on the wagon in general.
  10. SO! End of challenge! yay! Start weight was 65.1Kgs End weight.... 58.6kgs! Plank time at start 30 seconds Plank time at end 1 minute and 10 seconds Can now do 40 squats in a row, struggled with 15 at the start Can now do 30 push ups in a row (on knees) Can do 10 inverted rows I eat heaps better, although I do cheat on occasion so would love to cut that out, and i'm sticking to a work out schedule! Over all I think I succeeded in most of my challenge, but I did miss a few workouts and cheated a bit on the food side, and didn't do my life quest so giving my self a b- Im pretty amazed at myself. This is the longest ive ever stuck at a health/eating/body related thing. Pretty proud at the moment, Thankyou guy so much for being there for me through some pretty messed up stuff, even if you did exactly know what was going on you helped alot just by encouraging me!. Can not wait for the next challenge! now Im off to work out and grab a progress shot or 2!

  12. Thanks :0 i still have a ways to go but I'm definitely getting there ooo I'll pick his brain at the meeting! My physio wants me doing single leg squats now. I keep falling over though
