LOL I've never tried to grow hops. Its a grain so I assume it would grow like wheat. Not sure I have the space for that kinda growing I have 3 acres. It probably works like corn though where you have to have alot of the plants for cross pollination to get any decent yield. 

A new hip! wow that sounds painful but good for you! Its awesome that you are already getting yourself back on the horse!

What was it that you were trying to plant the year you did the re landscaping around your place?  I had it in my head it was hops.  Oh well.  I am taking on a little more with three 20 x20  beds out at my in laws "farm". One bed has potatoes and onions the other some sweet corn so far.

nope. I didn't put one up this month.

I'll be doing one in June. I think I'll be an adventurer as I can no longer be a Scout and I want to find something interesting and maybe even new to me.

I've been bad. Just not having time for regular checkins so not doing challenges. I need life to slow down a little

I don't need to tell you that you are in control of doing what makes you happy.  Got the garden all tilled and prepped this weekend ( five 4x4' beds and three 4x 10' beds). Plated sweet corn, green beans, snap peas, green onions, beets and flowers yesterday and also got herb container garden set up on the deck.  Basil, marjoram, parsley, cilantro seeds sowed along with two Rosemary plants in.  Want to come help me finish next week?

I love the gardening... I would help you in a heartbeat.

I just can't maintain or give it the attention it needs with the other commitments I've made. I can change that next year though
