Yeah I'm just lurking on the T2SC food porn.

Lurk away.  Just in time for " old timers music trivia"

originally released in 1965 but everyone knows the 1981 version

Sometimes I feel I've got to
    Run away I've got to
Get away from the pain that you drive into the heart of me
    The love we share
    Seems to go nowhere
    And I've lost my light
For I toss and turn I can't sleep at night

  3. W1D2 Went to the boot camp water aerobics class. It was from 7pm to 8pm so when I got home I had anther bowl of the loaded calif lower bake and a salad with some hummus and cottage cheese. Calories for the day around 1300 and carbs 34g.

W1D3. After work I was exhausted. (9.5 hour day on my feet) Napped through the spin class, but I had put a pork butt in the crock pot so dinner was easy. Paired it with some southwest rice I had in the freezer and another salad. Calories for he day 1700 carbs 75.5c6e796b6e7335e58689d50ca543727e.jpga9c845450e7533ba675b08d65cc2da81.jpg4eff8c8a23d2a62552dc41a60a4d3823.jpg

Seriously, you can live of of 1200 KCAL?

To lose 2 lbs a week and be moderately active I am supposed to have 1250 daily. I will usually be at 1200 on 4-5 days and 1500-1700 the other two. Now you know why I fast until 2pm.

Hit the gym twice today. In the morning for a bike ride and some arm work then in the late afternoon for a water aerobics class.
Dinner was meatloaf and loaded califlower bake. Around 1200 call for the day and 47g of carbs.50efc1e63d5e02aeeb64cdf6a2fa33a2.jpg

Since I'm the actual Texan and DFG is from California and lives in Oklahoma, I'll say those are goals rather than requirements.

With a pit stop in Iowa also.  But I do like that he makes up his own rules!

  8. Big challenge this time.  I signed up for my gyms fitness challenge.  It cost $10, but I could win $500.  I am not a gambler (with money) but I thought it would be a nice motivation to take me to the next level.  They use an Inbody scale, which measures fat and lean muscle with out having to submerge yourself in water.  I used the scale a year ago before either surgery when I was 20 pounds lighter, so even if it is not 100% accurate, I do think it will be a good judge of gaining muscle and losing fat.  One woman and one man will win and it is based on the difference in lost fat and gained muscle (LBM).  I also took advantage of the personal training sessions and bought eight 30 minute sessions that they had at a special price.

My my focus has always been to lose fat and gain muscle so my goals won't differ much.  I do need to be more consistent posting results on my thread.

Goal 1. Nutrition.  Paleo/Keto reset eating.  Bread/pasta and sugar have been reduced to almost nothing with the last challenge. I have decided to steal from @deftona, and post a picture of my evening meals.  I bought Mark's Keto reset diet so interested in trying that since I know my body is carb sensitive. Burning my fat for fuel is something that makes sense to me.  I hate the first few days of under 25g of carbs so I may ease into it by still having some potatoes, squash and or a little rice.  Using MFP consistently is another goal but I will settle to just track carb grams if need be.  IF has worked for me in the past and also kept me on the straight and narrow at work from nibbling, so it is added into the mix too.  The goals may change by week but I am starting here

Daily carbs under 25g.  IF on 3 work days till 2pm when I get home.  Post picture every night of my evening meal.

Goal 2 Exercise.  I have been excellent at going to the gym.  Yeah me!  Now to take it to the next level.  Water aerobics,  Cardio ( usually ride bike or do rowing machine) and lift weights. With the personal training sessions I want to work on getting a better knowledge of the free weights and machines at my gym and also strengthening my core which for some reason I just can't motivate myself to do.  Again I reserve the right to adjust

4 water aerobics classes, 3 cardio/strength workouts and one personal training session each week.

Goal 3.  Be more active here.  Post on my thread and visit at least 10 others each day.  You may get some trivia here and there especially to keep the 70's and 80's alive since @Mr_Willes is doing a great daily music trivia game for all you youngsters on his thread.  Anyone, who has never heard of the songs I post should head there and check his out!

  9. I will be updating how my challenge is going this weekend.  It is going great so far.  I am really happy with my progress of not only getting to the gym 5-6 days a week but also getting back into the habit of logging on MFP.  I can not out bike the scale, and even though I eat healthy and make good choices my portioning is all out of whack.

i am spending $10 at my gym tonight to get into a contest to win $500 in hopes of even more motivation.  More to come about the specifics.

We have to step back into the full fledged 80's before i will stand a chance!

We really have to expand your mind.  Toys in the Attic is one of the best albums.

    80's coming soon!
