This is an interesting idea. I do have a habit of not following through with plans like that. Yesterday I brought an organic veggie burrito in (Amy's - they're amazing), and I ate crap INSTEAD of my healthier option. It's definitely a good strategy though - Have everything pre-portioned and pre-made...

Food is my cryptonite this challenge. I haven't eaten so badly in a loooong time. I don't even know what's causing it - I'm not particularly stressed, or sad, or anything. I'm very BUSY, but I've been busy many times and haven't made such bad decisions. Yesterday, literally everything I put in my body was unhealthy except for a morning peach. It was all McDonald's or frozen or junk. I've even been diligent in tracking EVERY item I eat in my (new) FitBit app, down to the 2 pieces of saltwater taffy a coworker gave me. Sigh. At least I'm doing really well in the exercise department. It's usually the reverse. Rehearsal tonight is going to kick my butt - 3 hours of dance!

I've done a lot of musical theater, and I studied opera in college. Right now I'm in the ensemble of Young Frankenstein in a local company No worries! Start with the next one! -
Just did my second barre class and it WHUPPED. MY. BUTT. The first class had a lot of flexibility in terms of how hard you pushed yourself. Being a big girl, I had to modify a lot. I like to say "Imagine working out with a 100 lb backpack on your back!" - So with the "Flex & Flow" workout, I was able to modify a lot. This "Booty Barre" class, it was waaaay harder. I had trouble finding ways to modify, but I did my best. Still a good workout, but I think I'll stick with Flex&Flow in the future! I also asked for a tour of the super low-budget gym in the same park as the barre class. This is a bare bones gym - warehouse style with some cardio machines, free weights, boxing, and a whole section dedicated to bodyweight. Right now I'm paying $70 a month to be tacked onto my family's country club style gym, which grants me access to amazing amenities I never use. This gym is $10 a month, and only has stuff I'd use, or at least try! Plus, it's right by work! Neat!

YESSSSSSSSSSSS. It was great! I went to a "Flex and Flow" version, that was kind of a yoga/calisthenics/ballet hybrid with resistance bands. I had to modify a lot, as always, but I had a good time! It was a great workout, and I am definitely feeling the effects (especially in my shoulders and calves).

So we had our first "rehearsal" - aka, more of a meet and greet, cast read through. Intimidating group of talent (in a good way!) It may sound snobby, but I'm used to being one of the most talented people in the room. Not in this cast!! It's awesome. I have been honestly tracking my eating habits using two apps - Lose it and the Fitbit app. I've moved over to the fitbit app, because my Fitbit arrives in the mail tomorrow! Yay! What I've noticed is that even though I'm not making the best choices for some foods (snacks and dinner especially), I am still falling within the assigned calorie target. Now, I would like to be eating LESS than they're calorie target - They've assigned me ~2400 calories to lose 1 lb a week, and I'd like to stay around 1900. I've found that 1800-1900 is my magic number. With more or fewer calories, I am stagnant. That is my golden range! Tonight I am trying a barre class for the first time - A local studio has a first class free policy. I'm excited! Even though I'll be a bit like this... Whatever. She's fabulous.

What a great group of people - and I am SO LAME for not doing anything with this... Zombie hunter PVP for next challenge?? -
Fun story: I worked at a Boys and Girls club a few years ago, and we had theme weeks during summer camp. During "Halloween" week, a guy counselor and I teamed up to put on this number ^^^. I was about 6 inches taller, so I played the monster. We tap danced in suits with canes, and I had a Frankenstein mask (all courtesy of the BGC's costume room). It was absolutely brilliant and so fun. I'm also considering taking an adult tap dance class at the dance studio a mile from my office. Such a good work out, and so fun! OH, and I've been playing badminton at work. FUN.

Young Frankenstein! It's the first musical I've auditioned for with an attitude of "I just want to be in the ensemble". Normally, I'm all about getting a lead! However, this show doesn't really have any leads that would be a good fit (Though I would love to play them someday). It's a competitive company, so even though I'm darn good, there's a chance I won't get in at all. FINGERS CROSSED. Fun Fact: I spent ALL NIGHT yesterday frantically refreshing the cast list page, waiting for the list to get posted. The directors said they would post the list after Wednesday's callbacks... Today is Wednesday, and I spent all of Tuesday evening being a spaz for no reason... I'm super smart, guys. Thanks!!

1: Eat Well (+3 WIS) - Vegetarian Lunches, Whole Food Dinners - NO fast food (except coffee) Struggling here, not going to lie. But I think I've cut my badness in half, which I will take as a small win. Gotta bring it home! in the last week of my 3wk challenge! 2: Exercise (+4 STA)- 3x a Week Minimum (Gym or Work Fitness) - At least 1 hike with the dogs a week. Not too bad here! I've auditioned for a musical, and (if I get in) I'll be tap dancing 2x a week. Niiiice! Life Quest: Get Stable: Finish Paying off CC Debt (+3 CON) In the last 3 weeks, I have put $500 towards "bad debt". I'm pretty proud of this. This means I am currently 60% towards my goal of being bad-debt free (I'll be paying student loans for the rest of my life. Those don't count!!).

So, I just got harassed at the farmers market… my strategy with farmers markets is to do a loop before I buy anything so I can see what everyone has to offer. So I got out of my car wondered over to the different stands and walked right past the first few because I was doing a loop. The guys at the first vegetable stand watch me pass. After I had walked pass them I heard one of them Lenover to the other one and say "yeah that's right, walk right past the vegetables." It took me a second to process what he was actually saying. He was commenting on the fact that me, fat person, had walked right past the vegetables. Presumably, he thought I was going for the pastries down the row. I stopped in my tracks, looked over my shoulder, and both of the men were staring right at me. I then proceeded to buy about $25 worth of fresh vegetables from a different vendor. And I walked pass them on my way out with heaping bags and said "way to run a business, guys." They were silent, and I wandered off with my head held high. Fuck those guys.

I recently treated myself to a new cartilage piercing (the traditional kind) a few weeks ago. I'll take a picture of my jacked up ear! 3 lobs, 1 tragus, 1 cartilage.

I've just signed up, as a novice who is currently staring at her just-finished Diet Coke. *burp* I'm trying to kick ALL artificial sweeteners, and I count high fructose corn syrup in that category. Tiny bits of sugar/honey/agave are a-okay.
