  1. Anyone looking to do do Tough Mudder in the Tri State Area on October 12th?
  2. Hi all, I'm registered for Tough Mudder on October 12 and am trying to find people to go with. I might be able to get a car to drive to the event or join others. Anyone else going? Might be tough since that's also Comic Con weekend, but let me know.
  3. Been a bit busy to keep up with the post, but wanted to catch up. I'm a super saiyan! My goals: Health goal: Ate clean 85% of the time, full points. B. +2 Con, +1 Sta Fitness goal: I dominated at the competition and got 1st place. full points. A. +1 Str, +1 Sta, 1 Con Fitness goal: Discovered this one during the competition. Nailed it just in time. A. + 4 Sta, +1 Dex Life goal: I have done the research and have an eating plan. My challenge will continue. Full points. +4 Wis
  4. Feeling better, just a little bit of a sore throat. Workouts yesterday, tomorrow, and Friday. Squeezing a make up on in on thursday. Yesterday's pics:
  5. Officially sick today. Will workout when I feel better. Will try to stick to clean, but health comes first.
  6. Today I feel like the Millennium Falcon. On good days I feel like I could do the Kessel Run in 12 Parsecs but today I can barely get my sublight drive to start. I think I'm getting sick.

  8. This is the PDF I made a while back to outline what we'll be doing in the competition.   10. I feel you on the running in the cold thing, I have to get myself out there. Maybe some of the cold weather equipment sports brands sell might help? I had some a while back and loved it. Best to you on all of your goals, I'm trying to cut down on booze as well...
  11. Monday night progress pictures. Starting week: I've also attached the link to my food log in my original post. I wasn't sure if picked jalapeño counted as clean or not because of the whole pickling process.
  12. I will make exceptions for my birthday and celebrations related to, but other than that, I'll try to remain as strict as possible to my goals.
  13. This half elf, half Saiyan is here to finally make it all the way to Super Saiyan. It's a big six weeks and I'm going to get through them like a true Saiyan Elite Warrior (Ranger)! I've realized that over the last few weeks I've realized that I worked out better when I was broke and out of work. Since I've started working again my workouts have lowered in intensity. Not anymore! I'm going to take this challenge on and pound it into the ground. My goals: Health goal: I've been eating take out a lot at work and it's been finding itself a nice home around my midsection. For the challenge I'm going to eat clean, keep a food log, and watch what I eat. I'll post my food log when I get the chance. To be specific, I'll try to bring lunch from home, have no grains, eat more superfoods, more pseudograins. I'm fond of booze, but I'm going to try cutting down on my consumption of it, two alcoholic beverages a week max. Navindra and I will be supporting each other on this one. Every Monday I'll be posting a progress picture here. +2 Con, +1 Sta edit: food log here Fitness goal: My girlfriend Navindra and I are competing with some friends to see who is in best shape. We've all put $50 down for this and have a series of events to test strength, stamina, and endurance. I think I'm the person to beat in this, and I don't want to disappoint. Navindra is my biggest competition on this, and we've decided to team up to share the winnings. I will not settle for any finishing position below 1st or 2nd place. To prepare I'm going to lift more, and condition. No points if I get 3rd or worse. The competition is scheduled for the first weekend of February right now, so there's plenty of time for improvement on my part. +1 Str, +1 Sta, 1 Con Fitness goal: I've never really tracked my running so I want to track my pace. My goal is to run a 7:30 mile. I can do an 8 on a good day, so if I push myself I should be able to make this by the end of the 6 weeks. I will also stretch properly to make sure I don't hurt myself. + 4 Sta, +1 Dex Life goal: I need to prepare for the challenge after this one, so I'm going to do my research for it. There are two books that are specifically on the subject, and I will purchase them and make my plan for the next challenge. I know it's too early to start thinking about the next challenge, but it's going to be such a large change for me that I need to prepare. Of course, you all will know about it as soon as I've figured out the details. +4 Wis
  14. Pull up with weights are killing my hands... I can do this! I think I just need to change which station I'm at. The metal rods keep digging into my hands.
