  1. I've started a workout group with nerdy friends of mine and I stumbled upon NF while looking for a role-playing system to use for fitness. Sure enough, here I am! I've been jogging/running for close to a year now, so I've finally gotten to the point where running a 5k makes me feel pumped rather than worn out. I know the website is on Week 4, but I hope it's okay if I jump in halfway through. Here's my character sheet and first quest: Gyfu Swiftbolt Level 1 Gnome Assassin/Scout Abilities STR 1 DEX 2 END 4 CON 2 WIS 3 CHA 3 Main Quest Lose 35 pounds or more (0/35 lbs lost) Goals Run 5k or more at least 3 times a week (0/3 runs in Week 1) Maintain net caloric intake of 1800 or lower (0/12600 net calories in Week 1) Strength train for 30 minutes or more at least 2 times a week (0/2 sessions in Week 1) Motivation Rather than focusing on what my body looks like, I want to be proud of what my body can do. Life Quest Build an "adult" wardrobe. I'm nearly done with my undergrad and moving on to grad school, so I should probably start dressing like my age. I suspect that losing weight will make this goal easier. Grading Goal 1: Increase in Endurance 5 points - Every Run over 3.5 miles and/or an hour 4 points - Every Run under 3.5 miles and/or an hour 3 points - Smaller Goal 2: Increase in Constitution 5 points - Food Journal is maintained and 1800 net calories or less for the day 4 points - Food Journal is maintained and 1801 to 2000 net calories for the day 3 points - Food Journal is incomplete or over 2000 net calories for the day Goal 3: Increase in Strength (2-4 Points) 5 points - Strength training sessions for over 30 minutes 4 points - Strength training sessions at 30 minutes 3 points - Strength training sessions under 30 minutes I hope this is everything I needed to put out there. I'm so excited to get started!
