Improve muscular endurance, find baseline for pushups, bodyweight squats, kettle bell swings at 25 and 50 pounds, rows. then work to improve them. Monday Wednesday Friday: 1. Wrist mobility routine. ido portal squat routine. ido's shoulder routine. mornings. 2. Track conditioning. aka speed walking. 7.5 minutes out, 7.5 minutes back, each session go farther out than the session before. 3. Beginner bodyweight workout with the addition of over unders, minus the planks and with the replacement of lunges by kettlebell swings. Tuesday Thursday Saturday 1. 2. Igi Baby Assassins! Lets kick this pig! (I don't know what that means but it was in independence day and that movie is inspiring as hell.) You can do it! Also, biting my nails is how i cut my nails, and I don't know if it's ever going to stop. Thats disgusting, don't judge me. Like 2 Chainz says, "I'm different".
  3. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=De7rbB2bteE did the posterior chain work out 3 times before work (i work freight at office depot) between last i posted and now. it was really good. 4:30 a.m. is a weird time to workout but after a cold shower i was as exhilarated as I'd ever been at 5 a.m. delayed onset soreness after but not too bad. I've been cheating on my diet like crazy, gummy candy intended for my niece and nephew, non organic bacon and sausage, and my cheat days often extend into cheat weekends. last weekend was presidents day which made it a three day weekend.
  4. Hey I've got a crapload of weight to lose. That's a real term by the way like dozen or gross. It means 100. I'm starting an acountibilibuddies group for the next 6 week challenge called the Baby Assassins, it's for those people who want to kill babies. No it's for people starting out who aspire to assassinhood. I'm trying to get a mentor, for the group and might have one through the other member of the group. What does sidekick mean anyway, is it like a mentorship thing? Are you Superman looking for supergirl? I could be somebodies supergirl.
  5. I'm trying to lose about 90 pounds of fat and gain about 20 pounds of muscle. I like Basketball and self defense, and see firearms as a means to that end but they don't excite me. I'm in florida we have the Panthers but I know nothing. I'm 28 and I guess my fitness goals are that I generally want to be a badass, I want to dunk. I feel that dunking was a key step in my development that never happened and as a result i'm stunted in several important ways. Also I want complete control over my body. Like this crazy son of a bitch and this one I want to be able to destroy anyone in my path.
  6. I'm starting a baby assassin group, people looking to prepare themselves for full body and environmental dominance, start now, and be ready for the next challenge. I'm also gonna be looking for an assassin Mentor for this group to guide and push our baby killer selves. Anybody with me?
  7. Hey, I'm looking for an assassin MENTOR TOO, though more stealthily, assassin style trying to stalk one through the forums by their posts and stuff, I'm trying to start an accountabilibuddy group for Baby Assassins, called the Baby Assassins for the upcoming challenge. Will you join me?

  9. Captains Log #1 I live in my momas house. I wrote an introduction the other day, but it was more of a half formed joke than a real introduction so i'm gonna do that here. So I've been fat since about 2nd grade. I just started gaining weight. It was probably social anxiety and school performance based. But I was active, and coordinated and athletic, I was always outside and always playing sports. Basketball coach told I would make the team in seventh grade, but I didn't like the running I'd have to do to get ready, and I was probably just scared of trying out. I played Football in high school and made varsity my freshman year as an O lineman (Vincent Wilfork put me on my ass three times in a row in the 1 game I got put into.) But sometime that year I realized football really hurt, and I hated it. But basketball was my first love and by time I got to high school I was too far behind to make a high school team. (Or that was the excuse I made for not trying out then.) My second love though were the Martial Arts. I trained in tkd when I was a kid, like the majority of American children, and took two different styles as a semi grown up. Both instructors told me I was a natural. But I've probably has 15 martial arts lessons after tkd class when I was a kid. And I'm now a 28 year old dude, trying to overcome a lifetime of procrastinating my life. Waiting for perfect times and perfect opportunities and perfect workout plans. Last year I had a business fail and moved back home with my parents as a result. We failed in part because of my shortcomings, and the real reason, I and my partners didn't accept our limitations and figure out ways to happily work around them. We focused on them and blamed each other and explosively imploded. After high school I hovered around 270 pounds or so, but had gone up to about 320 at some point, and had through some improvised crossfit workouts I created on my own, and intermittent fasting (and just being broke and not able to afford food, lost 50 pounds. When the business started going under I started gaining weight and didn't stop until I reached the heaviest weight of my life at 330 pounds. So I'm trying to figure out ways to outsmart my limitations, make myself failure proof. I've been reading Tim Ferriss' 4 Hour Body, and 4 Hour Chef, and have implemented as many of his strategies for accomplishing change as I can. I took photos of my big ass and posted them on the wall next to my bedroom door to motivate myself, I got my parents to join me in the Slow carb diet, I set a 4 week experiment and lost 19 pounds, all the while cheating slightly, I started taking pictures of everything I eat and drink but I haven't turned it into a habit specifically, I signed up on Stickk and am using an anti charity (the neo-con think tank generating the ideology and policy around climate change denial and nefarious Kochian objectivist goals). And truly nothing has motivated me as thoroughly or well as the idea of supporting a cause I loathe. I didn't cheat this week and fasted half of sunday. And I hope the nerd fitness community will provide the yin to Stckk's Yang, the positive helpful supportive community to stickk's fear based exploitation of human weekness. I also started taking Tim Ferriss' PAGG supplement Stack and that might have something to do with this weeks success. I feel like I need Capoeira and martial arts in my life. And I want to dunk. I really, really want to dunk. Also, Emilia Clarke and I are meant to be together, and if I were smaller, she might notice me more easily (that's not right). So I need a place to keep track of my stats, and pictures of food. This will be that place. And I'm gonna create a little chart to go in here to keep it all together. Weight, body fat percentage, total inches, stuff like that. My workout plan is gonna have to be in tomorrow's post, and I'm going to start it and stick with it until the next challenge starts, and keep track of what I actually do in the Captain's Log. Specific performance markers as I figure out what specifically I want to track. I got a bio-impedence scale and am going to try to normalize my water intake in the early morning to keep a consistent baseline for weighings. My weight today was 304.5 lbs and 36.4% body fat. That's all I got. For now. Also give me help and recommendations and if anyone has charts or ideas for how to increase your vertical jump hit me up!
  10. Check out Leecblock my man, it's a firefox plugin that alows you to block time wasting (leeching) websites. There's a similar thing for chrome, but i forget what it's called, you can find it if you search for it.
  11. my two biggest weeknesses are TV, my rss feed and websites where young ladies seem to spill things on their shirts and have to take them off (three things). But I'm going on a low info diet, and check out stickK.com if your having motivation problems. There you put your money where your butt is. Good Luck! We can do this man!
  12. Luke Cage Daredevil and IronFist are my three dads. It was an alternate universe (darkest timeline), Jessica Jones was lost in a time tunnel things got weird and they decided to get threeway gay married. They found a dna recombinator, uterine replicator, and had me. Thing was, there was like, a twins situation and I ended up the 6'2" Danny Devito, not Arnold Schwarzenegger. But I think my three dads are a great combination of Monk, Assassin and Warrior. And that is what I aspire to. I want, nay, need to lose about 100 pounds of fat, and in the process want to put on 20 pounds of muscle. Big like luke, skilled in the mystical arts like Iron Fist, and a killer like Daredevil. But on the real, I started reading 4 Hour Body, saw Tim Ferriss' interview with Steve on youtube, and decided ya'll were some cool ass nerds I could stop being fat with. My plan is to start with a combination of Tim's posterior chain workout, kettlebell swing glute activation raises and flying dogs, with Ido Portal quadripedal movement exercises, and some track conditioning. Then sprints in a month, weights after two months, and Capoeira class by June. I have an anticharity on stickk i'm trying to never support, so help a brotha out. Ian
